About this ebook

For over 30 years, these treasured poems have resided in a plain white notebook, largely unseen by the world. These poems were whispered to Connie by the Lord, written down on paper and shared with just a few special people.

As Connie has experienced the mending of her heart by Jesus Christ, so she has felt the leading to reach out and mend other hearts with the same love she found when she came to know Him. She has counseled women for many years and has a tremendous love and compassion for the hurting. For the last few years Connie has felt the Lords leading to put her poems into print with two purposes in mind:

to encourage those who are struggling
and to glorify the God she loves, the Master Heartmender.

May these words touch your heart and bring joy, peace and healing to your soul. May you come to know Jesus Christs immeasurable love and may He become your Heartmender.

    God’s Instrument

And if the words bring pleasant thoughts to dance upon your mind.

The one to thank is God above, if you will be so kind.

For in His loving plan He knew the words I’d like to say,

And brought them forth, out of my heart, to share with you today.

I want for each of you to know I value much your friendship,

And treasure every moment spent developing a kinship.

Just talking every now and then and knowing that you care,

Has filled my heart with sunshine, as with me you have shared.

Sometimes it only takes a smile, or just a friendly touch,

To make the shadows fly away…..it really isn’t much.

And yet, the kind words we could say are locked within our hearts.

We hang onto them tightly, not letting them depart.

If only we could open up and give our love away,

It would come bounding back again to brighten up our
