About this ebook
Nanci Stone
When Nanci Stone started this book, she intended to share her experiences in a way that would touch readers and give them hope if they are lost. So many people, including the author, walk through life in fear and bounce around life hoping for the best. Difficult experiences and troubled relationships left her feeling undeserving. It wasn’t until she started feeling a deep desire to explore and get answers about why her life was so complicated that she discovered the principals of the Law of Attraction. Understanding this universal law took several years, but once she did, her whole life shifted, and so many of her answers were discovered. It is this journey that the author shares. “If you picked up this book, there is something here for you. I believe that. There are no coincidences; everything is in perfect timing.” —N. Stone

Words do not teach. Your true knowledge comes from your own life experience, and while you will be a constant gatherer of experience and knowledge, your life is not only about that, it is about fulfillment, satisfaction, and joy. Your life is about the continuing expression of who you truly are.

Acknowledgment
I want to thank my sons, Christopher and Mark, who relived many of my past experiences for the purpose of writing this book. To Tami, who through her gentle spirit has loved and supported me. To my brother and sister for sharing their lives, even though we are on very different journeys. Especially to my sister, Susan, who I love with all my heart. Thank you to all of the people in this book. It is my hope that, on your own journey, you find love, peace and happiness.
I dedicate this to every one of us who is searching for the truth of who we are and believes they are worthy and loved enough to honor who they are.

The concept behind the Emotional Scale
is simple, really. By acknowledging how I’m feeling, I can choose to feel better. For example, the higher the number, the higher your vibration. If you start the day feeling worried (#14 on the scale), aim for a higher vibration. For instance, you might think of something that you’re disappointed about because Disappointed is two steps up from being worried. From there, you work up the scale, and aim to be somewhere between a #1 and a #3 throughout most of the day. You then appreciate your way up the scale until you get there. The Emotional Scale
is a tool I personally use every day.
Foreword
A s I look back on the past year, I can see how much I’ve grown. It’s because of this growth that I have so much to share with you. Even though I started this book over two years ago, I was recently inspired by a director named Nina Davenport to finish. Nina filmed a documentary about her life and her own emotional journey. During the two years she filmed, Nina became a single mother and had her share of ups and downs.
Nina’s journey, all the highs and lows of her life, stirred something deep inside me. There wasn’t any one thing that I connected with, but I identified with the struggles of her everyday life. As I watched, I wanted to know more and more, and I watched her documentary in its entirety. Finally I realized why I was so invested in her story…… It wasn’t the highs and lows she experienced that kept me glued to the screen, it was how she handled those highs and lows that captivated me the most. I may not know Nina, but that didn’t stop me from taking a keen interest in her story. I asked myself Why? What’s so interesting and what did I take away from watching it?
The answers to those questions are what inspired me to write this book. Her story is about choices and experiences, and these are things we’re all faced with in our
