He holds a M a s t e r s d e g r e e i n Defence and Strategic Studies. He is the author ofThe Infantryman in the Regiment, Reflections of a Soldier among others.

    In a period of dearth in writing even within academic circle, this collection of poems "a silent nvoice in the land" coming as a second publication of a collection of poems by this author is a good source of reprieve that perhaps all is not lost in the art of writing.

    His ability to fathom the feats and defeats of life and to render same in a picturesque way shows a balance of mental and physical agilities. Military men are known to possess the former much more than the latter. This rare gem not only possesses physical and mental agilities, that are lacking in our societies today, but possess a plethora of qualities, that you hardly believe he is not a devout academician, or a courteous diplomat, or a committed philanthropist, or a professional soldier.

    The ability of the author to ruminate with conscience and weave poems over certain activities of life which are taken for granted, while in essence they constitute the basic strings that binds society together is a testimony of the profundity of thought and his ability to utilize complimentarily the experiences of
