Paul is a Graduate of Valor Collage and is a member of the World Harvest Ministerial Alliance I Columbus Ohio. He has written four other books including “From Trials To Blessings” written in 2007. In his leisure time, Paul enjoys the great outdoors and spending time with family.

      PREFACE

      The true understanding and grasp of being in the presence of the Lord came to me after many years of being a Christian. I always thought that I was in the presence of the Lord by what I was doing. I was raised in the church, involved in a lot of activities there including the choir, ushering, and even did the praise and worship part of opening up the services on Sunday mornings. I tried to get everything I possibly could out of the great sermons. It was not until I heard an interesting message on being in the presence of the Lord that I realized that I needed to get a deeper revelation of Christ, to be filled with the Holy Spirit and for the first time truly get into the presence of God.

      Many times, especially times before I had gotten saved and filled with the Holy Spirit I would find myself sitting in church and notice people who were either suffering from an illness, but they were jumping and praising God. Various ones going through financial issues, but they were up dancing in the spirit. People, who had just lost a loved one, worshipping and crying out to the Lord. There were people sitting quietly with tears running down their faces having something inside them reminding them that no matter what they were going through, they still found the strength to smile. Neither did I understand or know what they had, but whatever it was I WANTED IT TOO! That peace, that joy and that happiness in their life made me full of envy. I didn’t understand it. I had the good job and was making good money but inside I felt empty. I had the idea family, the nice home, wife and children and of course the dog, but I still did not feel complete. My life from the outside looked like the perfect life but for many years my insides were slowly being torn apart and I felt that something was still missing. Something that money could not buy. I did not realize that I was missing out on the one most important thing in life and that if I had it, the things of this world would have little relevance and that was GOD. I seemingly had everything but, GOD. That was the one area in my heart that was crying out. That was the
