    Chapter One

    AN ANTHOLOGY ABOUT LIFE,

    SOLITUDE, AND THE WRITER

    I

    ABOUT LIFE

    When There’s A Fight

    When there’s a fight

    Some take delight

    Right at the sight

    But it’s not right

    To watch with fright

    Some others might

    When there’s a fight

    30748.png

    How To Take Action

    What does one act upon?

    With no right tone

    And light’s all gone

    Without a home

    What does one act upon?

    30750.png

    Their Hurrah

    Blood was on all

    How they did fall

    Because their call

    Was far too small

    They were too tall

    For their own stall

    They had some gall

    With their hurrah

    30752.png

    Why Think As You?

    Why think as you

    For thoughts not true

    Why be confused

    Creating blues

    And take our hues

    This will not do

    Else we will stew

    30755.png

    Don’t Cast A Light

    Don’t cast a light

    That is not right

    Or you will plight

    And make a sight

    Both day and night

    30757.png

    It Does Make A Difference

    It does make a difference

    That one has a reference

    That leads to a preference

    Where there’s a deliverance

    Instead of a severance

    30760.png

    Live Each Day For Itself

    Live each day for itself

Leave what’s left upon the shelf

Then you’ll be as an elf

    Enjoying all that you have

    Thankful life is no grave

    30762.png

    Truth In The Soul

    Down deep in the soul

Is a truth one can’t hold

But a truth that makes bold

    And so often even molds

And this truth will not fold

    30764.png

    Can One Deny Truth Known?

Can one deny the truth one knows?

Can one live without some show?

When deep within, there’s a glow

That keeps one on a right flow

And makes one’s life go and go

Can one deny the truth one knows?

    30766.png

    Truth Revealed

    Love from one means much

It’s so precious with a touch

One can find there’s a hush

Which is followed by a rush

Is not truth revealed as such?

    30769.png

    Sitting There

    Sitting there

    Wondering where

    One might care

    Without fear

    Is it far?

    Or right here

    Where life’s clear?

    30771.png

    Let Truth Abide

    Let truth abide

    And be your guide

    From your inside

    Truth will not chide

    If you won’t bide

    30775.png

    Patterns Questioned

    Established patterns can be questioned

    When there is some hesitation

    Some surely need an oblation

When they speak for all creation

    They surely need some citation

    30773.png

    Need For Someone

When out of joint and can’t get right

And have no one to hold you tight

    Plus life is filled with
