About this ebook

A few days before Christmas Eve, Jimmy James decides to visit his old friends the cows in their warm cowshed. He spends a happy time with them. But when he starts his journey home, snow has covered the land, and everywhere it looks the same. Jimmy James cannot find his way, and he gets very cold as well as lost.

Back home, the twins who love him a lot think that they have lost him forever. They are very sad. Their dad puts a lost cat notice in the window of the local newsagents shop.

Author

John W. Paull

I am from a large North London family. My mother was one of seven, and my father was one of eight. There are children and cousins everywhere! Furthermore, I have always worked with children as a teacher, head teacher, and now education consultant and inspector. I have never lived far from my roots. Always I have been in places to the north and west of London, and currently I am in a Hertfordshire town. My grandfather was once known as the tailor-poet. This described his trade and recognized the publication of a little volume known as Kenwood Poems, written in and around the grounds of the famous Kenwood House at Highgate. I suppose that knowing this has always made me want to write things down. The Jimmy James stories are no exception. These tales have been knocking around in various formats for ages. They are a part of my life.
