    From the first time Mikael LE ROY wrote a poem and the first poetry competition that gave him the desire to continue, to this book he finally published, he had in his mind that each poem, each sentence, each word he wrote was a part of him and an opened gate through his soul.

    To write a poem, thats to engrave its mind wonderfully like an original and unique print To write a poem, thats to think after pronouncing a name, a word, letter by letter. And to emphasize that name, that word, thats what I call to Love Aloud. ML

    This poetry comes from his heart, from his soul, from his hopes and his fears and finally, more than everything, from the imagined world of a dreamer that he is: a Poet.

    Mikael Le Roy

    Born in 1975, Mikael LE ROY is an author and writer who made poetry his chosen field. Son of the painter known as Eve who taught him her passion of Art and her art of Passion, he graduated from Brittany (France) with a degree in Literature, Philosophy and had also a specialty in Foreign Languages. After graduating, he studied at the University School of Law and Political Science for a couple of years. He began to be passionate in reading and writing poems when he was 12 years-old and since then, he never stopped. Years after years, his only quest has been to perfect his poetic forms and technics. Rewarded several times and published by magazines, that’s when he arrived in New York City in 2010 that he finally decided to share with us a part of his treasure he called “Confidences”, for the pleasure of the passionate readers and enthusiasts of Poetry that we are.

      From the first time I wrote a poem and the first poetry competition that gave me the desire to continue, to this book I finally publish, I had in my mind that each poem, each sentence, each word I wrote was a part of me and an opened gate through my soul.

      I’ve heard so many times friends, parents and siblings, teachers, professionals… asking me why I didn’t have published yet the poems I wrote, regarding the competitions I did, the trophies I won and the essays published by some national magazines; that gave me the opportunity and the privilege to get the keys of the school libraries and State library, a free pass that even if they were closed, I could go there and use their typewriters and the silence as an advantage.

      I could perform my imagination and I could write more quietly all the things that came through my mind.

      By the way, with time, I made the choice to share with you this poetry that I called Confidences.
