God Has a Plan: Through Jesus Christ, His Son - Are You Ready? the Holy Spirit and the Word of God Working Together

INTRODUCTION

Personally, God has spoken to me since 1991 regarding ‘The Final Battle’ and has gradually revealed more and more of His plans, but I firmly believe there is very much more revelation to be received by God’s people and that this is only just the very beginning.

The purpose of these revelations is to give vision and to give spiritual insight into the days and times in which we now live. It is to inform all people about the urgency of these times by alerting their spiritual ‘antenna’ to what God is planning to do in the coming days.

In order for people to understand these times, they will need to allow God to ‘give birth’ in their hearts to hope, faith, love, compassion, and vision with an expectancy that God will do all that He says He will do.

My prayer is that these revelations will encourage and give assurance of God’s love for all people and, also, give warnings and opportunities to others to receive Jesus, God’s only Son, as their Saviour and Lord. Therefore, this book is a letter from God’s heart addressed to those who

know Jesus, who have been born of His Holy Spirit and are seeking to put His will first in their lives.

have known Jesus, but have lost contact with Him through disappointments, disillusionments, pain, hurt, rejection, etc.

have known Jesus, but who have fallen prey to lethargy and comfort, having been deceived that following Jesus means only to follow Him and live in the blessings (the good times), and not following Him in the ‘crucifixion’ times (faith-building times), for during these times, character growth and maturity can take place.

have known Jesus, but have fallen asleep and have become ‘spiritually dead’—no longer able to hear the voice of their Shepherd calling them to come to Him.

legally praise him with their ‘head’ and not with their ‘heart’, as they are missing the point, missing out on their personal relationship with Jesus, and missing out on fulfilling their potential and purpose in Him.

have heard about Jesus and believe in Him and that He is the only Son of God, but do not see the need or urgency or relevance of receiving Him as Lord and Saviour of their lives.

have never heard about Jesus and about the Good News that was given to all mankind when Jesus died for all of our sins and arose from the dead on the third day, thereby being in a position of authority to remove all sin and opposition from the lives of all who will turn to Him in true repentance and with sincere regret for their wrongdoings, however big or small, so that they can receive His forgiveness and His healing and saving love into their hearts and lives.

may be either complacent, financially secure, poor and needy, sick and dying, abused physically, mentally, emotionally, sexually, or those who may be the perpetrators of these abuses, those who are desperate and despairing, longing and groaning for moral and upright attitudes within our nations, for which problems and difficulties Jesus is the only answer.

may be plotting evil against those who follow Jesus, to turn from their course while there are still opportunities available to them.

To summarize the above, this letter is God’s heart cry, a cry of urgency for all people everywhere to come to their ‘spiritual senses’ and know that there is still hope and that there are still opportunities to come to Jesus and to have the privilege of working with Him to fulfil God’s plans in these last days before it is too late. Many times in God’s Word, the Bible, we are told to be ready for when Jesus will return, e.g. Matthew 24: 44 says, ‘Therefore, you also be ready, for the Son of man is coming at an hour you do not expect.’

God is searching for people who will be totally committed and totally loyal to do His will and to completely trust Him, and in return they will all have the knowledge of His love and His presence, His strength, His ability, His gifts, His comfort, His peace, His assurance, His encouragement, and His guarantee (His Holy Spirit is His guarantee) that He will keep His people on their spiritual journey and give them entrance to his eternal heavenly city, that is, the new Jerusalem! In the book of Revelation, the last book of the Bible, the Apostle John records the glory of the new Jerusalem and the promise that the nations who are saved will walk there; Revelation 21: 22-24 says, ‘I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb (Jesus) are its temple. The City had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it, for the Glory of God illuminated it. The Lamb (Jesus) is its light. And the Nations of those who are saved shall walk in its light…’

God’s intention is to make all things new, as again the Apostle John recorded in Revelation 21: 2-4, ‘Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying,—Behold, the Tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.’

I strongly believe that as people take up the challenge that God is laying before each one of us, and this is a worldwide challenge, He will reveal a greater and greater depth of His knowledge and His wisdom to all those who will receive and who will truly follow Jesus.

Today, God is setting before all people (wherever they may be and whoever they are) a challenge to follow Jesus, and this challenge demands a response. My deepest prayer is that all people will catch the vision and respond to God’s LETTER OF LOVE, that is, his TRUMPET CALL!

PART 1

The Trumpet Call

This revelation of the final battle first started when, in about 1991, I clearly heard the sound of a trumpet during a Saturday night. I did not hear anything else or understand what it could mean, but on sharing with someone the next day, after the morning meeting at Church, I was told that he had read about someone having met with an angel, and I was told that this person had stopped to give the angel a lift in his car, and the angel had told him the first trumpet had been sounded! Since then, God has been showing me, telling me, and confirming to me what this trumpet sound means and what is soon to come.

I believe that when God speaks and when He gives signs, that is, revelation by His Holy Spirit (and He has been and is giving many people many signs), He should be carefully listened to, and what He is saying through His people should be weighed in his scales of truth, His Word contained in the Bible, and then there should always be a response from us to what God has said!

Biblically, the trumpet call is given for different reasons:

To bring humility, forgiveness, and reconciliation

Leviticus 25: 9 and 10 says, ‘. . . You shall cause the trumpet of the Jubilee to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month; on the Day of Atonement you shall make the trumpet to sound throughout all your land. And you shall consecrate the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a Jubilee for you; and each of you shall return to his possession, and each of you shall return to his family.’ Therefore, this trumpet would be sounded in order to humble God’s people and bring release and freedom from financial debts they owed and reunite families together.

Applying this to our present time, this trumpet is still sounded to humble God’s people and all people to bring release from a debt of sin they could never, ever be able to repay. As when Jesus sacrificed His life on the Cross at Calvary, he paid the debt of sin that separates God from all people, because of his love for all people. Therefore, as people embrace this truth and embrace Jesus, by turning from sin and asking His forgiveness, all debts of sin and wrongdoing are cancelled, removed, and forgotten by God, thereby reuniting God with his family, enabling those who have been forgiven to be free from sin’s bondage and burden. This trumpet call is a call to free people from their debt of sin and through Jesus to bring reconciliation with God. It is also important to note that this was written in 1998, the year of jubilee for Israel, and the very good news is that, through Jesus Christ, every year is jubilee! That is, every year—and every day—there are opportunities to be reconciled to God.

To bring thanksgiving, rejoicing, and celebration

When the Ark of the Covenant was brought ‘home’ to Jerusalem, there was rejoicing. 1 Chronicles 15: 28 says, ‘Thus all Israel brought up the ark of the covenant of the Lord with shouting and with the sound of the horn, with trumpets and with cymbals, making music with stringed instruments and harps.’ As the Ark of the Covenant represented God’s presence amongst Israel, there was great relief that God’s presence was once again with them. However, the Philistines were rejoicing at the Ark’s removal from amongst them as it had caused their idols to fall and break, and it had caused plagues and cancerous growths to break out amongst their people, but the Israelites were so thankful that God’s presence was back amongst them because they knew that His presence amongst His own people is accompanied by His blessings, and therefore, they abandoned themselves in joyful celebration. When people are reconciled to God, as they respond to his love for them, they will be reconciled to each other too, and trumpets will be sounded. There will be much celebrating and great thanksgiving for what God has done, and much rejoicing in His presence. Therefore, this trumpet call sounds the abundance of God’s presence and His blessings, as people are reconciled to him, and the celebrations of His people will be echoed in heaven.

Another reason for sounding the trumpet was to give warnings of impending danger so that people are forewarned and given opportunities to escape from the danger.

Ezekiel was given instructions by God to sound the trumpet, and if he refused, he would be held personally responsible for the lives of those who perished because of his disobedience. Ezekiel 33: 1-4 says, ‘Again the word of the Lord came to me, saying, son of man, speak to the children of your people, and say to them; when I bring the sword upon a land and the people of the land take a man from their territory and make him their watchman, when he sees the sword coming upon the land, if he blows the trumpet and warns the people, then whoever hears the sound of the trumpet and does not take warning, if the sword comes and takes him away, his blood shall be on his own head.’ God’s attitude towards his servant Ezekiel, and also His servants today, may seem harsh: If they do not give warning, they are held accountable to God, but in reality, this reveals God’s own heart longing for people not to perish when His sword of judgement comes upon the land, but rather that all will come to Him in true repentance and receive his forgiveness to enable them to be reconciled to him. This trumpet call, therefore, gives a clear warning to those who are set against God and upon whom His judgement will fall when Jesus returns. God is giving a clear warning, now, as there will come a time when all opportunities will cease, and each and every man and woman will have made his/her own choice as to whom they will follow. God is giving a clear warning as it is his heart’s desire that no one, not one person, will be lost for eternity but that all mankind will be reconciled to Him, through their repentance and acceptance of Jesus.

A further reason for the trumpet being sounded to give warning of God’s impending judgement upon this whole earth is, also, that people will gather together with him to join forces against the evil, wickedness, immorality, and oppression that is currently prevailing over this whole world that God created.

God is now saying that ‘enough is enough’ and that He has, so far, withheld His judgement to give further opportunities to those who are set against Him, but is now making ready to release a new weapon against all the evil and corruption in this world to enable its inhabitants to withstand and overcome, through the power that will be manifested through those who will truly follow his Son, Jesus. This, therefore, is a trumpet call sounding to gather a special army of people to fight together in the final battle against the forces of evil prevalent in the nations of the world.

However, there is no need to be fearful or dismayed at what God is asking, because He has given many, many promises, one of which is from Numbers 10: 9, ‘When you go to war in your land against the enemy who oppresses you, then you shall sound an alarm with the trumpets, and you will be remembered before the Lord your God, and you will be saved from your enemies.’ Therefore, it is God’s promise that the evil and corruption of this world will not overcome us, but that we will overcome and defeat our enemies, because God will remember us and be with us, and he will save us.

PART 2

Preceding the Revelation

Throughout history, God has always given revelation by His Holy Spirit to all who desire to know Him and who desire to do His will, in order that they would understand the signs of the times, and be able to trust God in all the circumstances of life. In this way, God is able to accomplish His plans through the willing obedience of those who really know him and follow him.

God has a blueprint, a plan, for all people, and it is entirely our individual choice, day by day, as to whether we do follow Him in preference to our own plans. As God created each one of us and is omniscient, He knows each thought, each word, and each action we take, and why we do what we do. He knows that we so often fail to do those things that we truly desire to do and, therefore, He is fully aware that we need his divine help to enable us to do His will so that his plans will be accomplished.

I believe that the Lord has given the following revelations in order that His own people, those who have received Jesus as their personal Saviour, and also those yet to receive Jesus, may be expectant and ready for the cleansing, renewing, and revival; we need to do his will.

During February 1996, God said that He will prepare His people to do His will, and He will do this by letting loose all the elements of His Holy Spirit upon His church. These elements consist of fire, wind, and rain, all being symbols of the movement of His Holy Spirit amongst His people to bring the cleansing, renewing, and revival needed to enable them to follow and participate in His plan.

The fire of his Holy Spirit will come to burn out our sin and our desire for sin will be changed into a desire to serve him.

In Luke 3 while John the Baptist preached to the people and baptised them with water, they thought that he might be the Christ, the Messiah, they were expecting, but John answered, in Luke 3: 16 and 17, ‘I indeed baptize you with water; but One mightier than I is coming, whose sandal strap I am not worthy to loose. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. His winnowing fan is in His Hand and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather the wheat into His barn; but the chaff He will burn with unquenchable fire.’ This will have a two-fold effect in that the sinful desires that are hidden in the deep recesses of our hearts, especially those that have grown cold towards Jesus, will be cleaned out by His fire, and instead, He will impart a new desire and passion for Him, as he reveals his love for each and every person, a love that will set us alight, thereby enabling us to do His Will.

In November 1997, God showed me the embers of a fire—seemingly dormant and inactive, but then I saw these embers burst into flame and transform into a roaring fire, as God Himself blew his breath upon them. Then, the Lord said:

‘You may think, My children, that deep within you there is no fire of passion burning, but know, and understand, that I see those deep and secret places and I know the deepest desires and the secret longings of your hearts. Know too, My children, that these ashes represent those things within you that I have already burnt up and it is from these ashes, from the residue of your suffering of your trials and difficulties, that I will cause a blazing fire to burn as My breath of refreshing comes upon you to ignite you into action. And as I come to set you free with My Sword, with My Word, I will also come to touch your hearts with My Flaming Torch, with My Love, and you will be My people who are ablaze and burning brightly with pure and holy desires, and your flesh life will be removed as you seek to do My will.

‘As you follow Me and as you obey Me you will find that higher way, and you will walk in that Holy Way that I have prepared for each one of you. Therefore, know My children, sense and see with the eyes of your Spirit that now the tide is turning in your favour and that now all opposing forces will be removed and you will move forward into position, and you will march together in unity. You will march with glory and honour, and as you march you will be covered, and you will be protected by My banner over you, My canopy of love, and you will march on to victory for the Glory of the kingdom and then you will increase. You will see fruit, you will see increase as you bear the fruit of your love, of your faith and of your obedience.

‘Know this, My children, for the tide is surely turning in your favour. Know this and be ready to receive and ready to follow, for there are many waiting for you to come, many waiting to join you and be part of My loving family. Be ready then to receive and to follow.’

Therefore, whatever is happening in our lives, God is in absolute and full control as He burns away the ‘chaff’, the impurities in our heart, and brings His people back to new life, new priorities, and new purposes. As we seek to be led by the Spirit of God and ask God for His will to be done in our lives, He will work everything out for good. The Apostle Paul tells us this in Romans 8: 28, ‘And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.’

The Wind of His Holy Spirit to Breathe New Life into us.

The God who first gave Adam and Eve life by His breath, and the God who spoke to Ezekiel, one of the Old Testament prophets, telling him to prophesy in the valley of dry bones, is the same God who will breathe life into us. Ezekiel 37: 9b and 10 say, ‘Thus says the Lord God: Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live. So I prophesied as He commanded me, and breath came into them, and they lived and stood upon their feet, an exceedingly great army.’ God is, therefore, saying that He will come from the ‘four winds’, from all directions, and breathe new spiritual life into His people to enable us to stand strong upon our ‘spiritual’ feet, ready to fulfil his plans and purposes.

The Rain of His Holy Spirit to Drench, Refresh, and Revive us.

This is confirmed as a special blessing for Israel, God’s first chosen people, but is also the Gentiles’ inheritance too. Isaiah 44: 1-5 says, ‘Yet hear now, O Jacob My servant, and Israel whom I have chosen. Thus says the Lord who made you and formed you from the womb, who will help you: Fear not, O Jacob My servant; and you Jeshurun, whom I have chosen. For I will pour water on him who is thirsty, and floods on the dry ground; I will pour My Spirit on your descendants and My blessing on your offspring: they will spring up among the grass like willows by the watercourses. One will say, I am the Lord’s; another will call himself by the name of Jacob; another will write with his hand The Lord’s and name himself by the name of Israel.’

Also, God’s heart to refresh and revive his people is revealed in Psalm 68: 7-11, ‘O, God when You went out before Your people, When You marched through the wilderness, the earth shook; the heavens also dropped rain at the presence of God; Sinai itself was moved at the presence of God, the God of Israel. You, O God, sent a plentiful rain whereby You confirmed Your inheritance when it was weary. Your congregation dwelt in it; You, O God, provided from Your goodness for the poor. The Lord gave the word; great was the company of those who proclaimed it.’ I believe that with this refreshing will come many prophetic words from God to give His people new hope and new direction.

God also reveals his love, his grace, and his mercy for those who may currently be asleep in His Church that they, too, will be able to rise up in His presence and be revived. Psalm 68: 13 says, ‘Though you lie down among the sheepfolds, you will be like the wings of a dove covered with silver, and her feathers with yellow gold.’

God has proved Himself, time and time again, to be faithful and trustworthy and, therefore, what He says—He will do—He will accomplish, and so it would be extremely wise for us all to cooperate with his Holy Spirit as He releases these three elements of His Holy Spirit upon His Church, in order that all of His people will be cleansed, renewed, revived, and ready to obey him.

God knows what is to happen in the future and, therefore, he knows the preparation we will need to be ready to obey him wholeheartedly, and God is revealing that this is a vital time that:

Our security must be in Him alone

In September 1996, the Lord gave me the following revelation when I saw a large nest with many young eagles; some were stretching their wings, and some were huddled together and were frightened. Some were dug deep into the nest. Their mother was flying around the nest, waiting for them to follow; she was calling them to come for she could see the urgency for them to leave the nest. For their mother could see the clouds gathering; she could see the wind becoming stronger, and she could see a storm coming that would blow the nest away. They must fly before the nest is blown away.

The mother continued to call to them, and one left the nest and then another, and as the remaining young eagles saw that it was safe to leave the nest and safe to fly, then the others came, listening to their mother’s call and flying in formation behind her. The mother was also constantly looking, constantly watching to make sure all her young have left the nest, for now the wind was blowing more strongly, and very soon the nest would be blown away.

God’s people are those young eagles, and the nest represents the things in which some of His people have placed their security, such as finances, job, home, relationships, etc. These are things that take God’s place of first priority and things that hold His people back from freely following their heavenly father. The Lord then spoke to me concerning this revelation, ‘Come, come My children, for now is the time to come, to trust Me and to leave those things that you are holding on to so tightly. I see your fears, but there is no need to be fearful for you know that I am your loving Father watching over you to draw you deeper into Myself and to bring you closer to Me. Let go of the nest, My children, stretch out your wings and put your trust in Me completely. Do you not know that as you put your trust in Me, I will carry you on the wind of My Spirit, and I will lead you to safety. For, My children, a storm is coming, and I want you all to follow Me. I want you all to be secure in My love and not to trust in those things that are holding you back, for those things will surely perish, but I have so many treasures to give you. I have so many new things to do within you and through you.

‘For as My heart desires that you should be safe and secure in My love, also My heart desires that you will take My love to My lost ones, that they, too, will be safe from the storm and secure in My love. So come follow Me, My children, follow Me, and I will take you to new heights that you could not have imagined possible, so come follow Me.’

The Lord also gave the following confirmations from His Word (the Bible), encouraging His people to listen to him, to trust him, and to obey him. Hebrews 12: 25-29 says, ‘See that you do not refuse Him Who speaks. For if they did not escape who refused Him Who spoke on earth, much more shall we not escape if we turn away from Him Who speaks from
