About this ebook

This book will provide you training that will enable you to expand your current prayer plan, regardless of what you are currently doing. If you are not on a prayer plan, then it is time to assist you in getting on a plan. If you are on a prayer plan we want to help you better manage your current plan so you can improve the quality of your prayers before God.

Minister Jamal El-Amin wants to help you get on your path to establishing a firm and solid prayer foundation whether you are at church, at home, at work or all alone.

Too often we do not pray simply because we do not feel self confident before God when we do pray. One of our primary goals is to give you the tools to help you become a better prayer by adding components to your current prayer plan.

Author

Minister Jamal El-Amin

Growing up as a child in West Point, Mississippi my mother passed away when I was at the age of seven. Whenever, a storm approached our city mother would gather her children and get underneath the bed for safety where she prayed to God for our protection. What I did not realize at the time was over fifty years later God would choose me to be a prayer leader. I am now a Minister with seven years experience. The best way to reach out to God is through prayer and that is what this book offers. Your prayers will be answered.

The first step to improving your prayer life with God is getting rid of not praying to God. Once you take the first step, God will take control and before you know it; your prayer life will begin to explode.

As a minister, I am focused on helping people on their path to a better prayer life with God. I am committed to providing you the support and the foundation you need in this book that will make prayer easy for you to supplicate before God. Prayer is the pathway to success. The path to a better life is prayer.

And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; Ephesians 4:11(KJV)

You then, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others. 2 Timothy 2:1-2(NIV)

As preachers of the gospel it is our roles to teach prayer, to drive prayer and to lead prayer.

    Introduction

This most powerful devotional prayer book was written to train you how to develop a devotional prayer life with God. So many of us find it hard to pray simply because we don’t know what to say when we face God in prayer. You don’t have to struggle with your prayer life anymore. Start and end your day with God in prayer. The Holy Spirit is our daily guide and He can be easy reached if you reach out to Him in prayer.

Do You Have A Hard Time Praying?

This book will provide you training that will enable you to expand your current prayer plan regardless what you are currently doing. There may be currently an image in your home where prayer is not being exercise at all. We will help you change that image. Not only will we change that image you will also be able to capture your prayers in a journal format that will allow you to pass your prayers down through generations to come.

I would like to dedicate Teach me how to Pray to my wife Rosalind, my daughter Zakat, my son Saed, my grandson Jalil, my granddaughter Jayla, my grandson Jalen, my granddaughter Madison, my grandson Mason, my mother-in-law Charity, my son-in-law Steve and my daughter-in-law Kim, my sister Lillie, my brother Robert, and my brother Frank, my sister-in-law Bettye, my sister-in-law Erma, my sister-in-law Chairty, and my sister-in-law Sally.

I also want to dedicate this book and journal to the Early Morning Devotional Prayer Team. To God be the glory and by God I am honored to dedicate this most powerful book and journal.

    Special Dedication

    To My Wife Rosalind

I dedicate this book to my wife Rosalind for being supported, encouraging, and inspiring as I devoted numerous hours completing this book. She helped me maintain a positive spirit and she gave me the confidence and space I needed to complete each segment of this transcript. I thank her for pushing and persuading me to stay focus on God throughout this experience.

    Special Thanks

We do not need an appointment to go before God in prayer

Hear me, my God, as I voice my complaint; protect my life from the threat of the enemy. Psalms 64:1(NIV)

    My Heavenly Father,

I am so glad to know that I do not have to stand in a line to come before you. Father, I am so glad to know that I do not have to hold a high position to come before you. Father, I am so glad to know that I do not have to schedule a specific time to come before you.

Father, I am so glad to know that I do not have a prior arrangement to come before you. Father, I am so glad to know that I do not have to go through an extensive interview to come before you. Father, I am so glad to know that I do not have to be engaged in a certain line of work to come before you. Father, I am so glad I can visit with you at anytime and anywhere I want to meet with you. Father, I thank you for giving me 24-hours a day to hold a session with you. In Jesus name I pray. Amen; Minister Jamal El-Amin.

    Heavenly Father,

Most gracious and most loving God everything in creation was brought into this world by you. Father, in the beginning there was only you our Lord and Savior. Father, you thought enough about us that you made us above everything in your creation. Father, we do not always put you first in our lives and we do not always put you above all things in our lives. Father, please forgive us for we do not know what we are doing to you or to ourselves. Father, you are the most supreme and the greatest in importance. Father, all authority and the highest rank belongs to you. Father, you are first in my life and I beg you to let me keep you first and above all things. In Jesus name I pray, Amen. Minister Jamal El-Amin.

WHAT IS PRAYER? WHY IS PRAYER IMPORTANT?

    What Is Prayer?

Prayer is a petition, a supplication, a plea, and a request before God.

Give ear to my prayer, O God; and hide not thyself from my supplication. Psalm 55:1(KJV)

Our daily prayer is greater than our daily bread. To start your day with prayer glorifies God. Our daily bread glorifies the flesh. Prayer touches the soul. Satan does not want us to start our day with prayer. Prayer brings God into our presence and at the same time pushes Satan away. Prayer opens our hearts and brings forth the Holy Spirit.
