    Introduction to Meditation

Life provides us with challenges on a daily basis. Meditation is a process to calm you down. It is a pathway to better understanding. It is a technique that provides multiple benefits.

Meditation is a powerful tool for behavior change. It is a terrific stress buster. It has a healing component. You can feel tremendous relief when through the use of meditation you are set free from past hurts, failures and disappointment.

Learning how to work smart, not hard; for personal achievement, happiness, love, success etc. is what makes this process pleasant and beneficial.

Meditation is a form of relaxation. There are a multitude of reasons people choose to use meditation. Likewise, there are many methods people choose. Some people choose to use meditation to just free flow mentally, and let their minds run wild. I personally do not. I have learned enough about the mind that to me it is not a good idea. You might decide otherwise.

I believe that meditation is a tool. I believe this tool provides avenues to many benefits. I believe you can absolutely improve all areas of your life when you apply the combination of meditation, affirmations, and visualization. Begin living your life by direction and no longer by accident with this process today.

Meditation is often used to tap our inner Christ consciousness. (Building your connection to your God, as you see him.)

Who can use meditation? Anyone who can concentrate and think creatively can experience the benefits of meditation. You move easily from thought to thought in a meditation. There are many descriptions of what meditation is.

With meditation, we let the reasoning, planning, thinking mind relax.

We allow all that inner voice within us to reveal truth of our being.

We allow our inner guidance to lead us. It directs and guides us. It helps us bring more and more good into our life.

Meditation is often used with prayer, and considered a form of prayer.

It can be called Thinking in the presence of God.

We use meditation for a myriad of reasons. It always applies to techniques to deal with our inner-self.

We experience perfect peace, perfect love of God, through applying this process and techniques.

Meditation does not require any specific belief. It is not a destination. It is a journey.

I believe the purpose of meditation is self-realization and awareness. While we meditate we receive visions of the truth for us. It is not strictly an intellectual event. It is not strictly an emotional event. It is not suppression. It is not passive activity. It involves it all.

Meditation can hardly be explained by words alone. We have the ability to transform our life when we use it.

The goal of creative meditation is spiritual. We have a three part nature. We are physical beings. We are emotional beings. We have a spiritual being. It is essential that our spiritual self is utilized during meditation.

I believe meditation is only effective when used mindfully. I am not one to promote mindless meditation.

Meditation by some interpretations is a turning of our mental and physical self to the spiritual self.

Meditation allows us to be free. I am talking about freedom from unnecessary stress. We become free from anything that blocks or hinders our inner creative forces from surfacing in a way where we experience life to the fullest.

During meditation we learn to put aside physical and mental things. We allow ourselves to relax into a wonderful state of inner calm. Here we feel love, peace, and joy. It was a whole new experience for me. My life was so hard. My stress level was very high. Maybe it is that way for you.
