About this ebook

Naturally, the dessert is not a place most people want to be or to experience. With little or no vegetation because of low rainfall, this region is one of the places that if given the choice, people will do anything to avoid. In spiritual parlance, a desert is a place of challenge, trials, hardships, and of learning- especially in a hard way. Those who have passed through this experience can testify to the pains associated with it.

To be in the desert is not always a palatable experience, and given the choice, everybody will do anything to avoid the desert or wilderness experience. Those who have passed through the desert as a real-life physical experience can testify to the pains associated with it. Being a dry land, water is either completely lacking or in a very short supply, and the atmospheric condition is always very hot, which in turn causes extreme thirst. To carry food into the desert as a way of preventing hunger is not always a long-lasting solution because such food is soon spoilt under extreme weather condition. Unfortunately, most people who have found themselves in the desert either do not know they would find themselves there or how long they are going to remain there. Yet, others do not know how they
