aupic-edited.jpgMatthew Wilson was born in 1932. At the age of four he started to attend the Spiritualist Church with his mother. He had the Gift but thought everybody else had it. He left school in 1945, at the age of thirteen. In 1950 he was called up for national service and drafted to Korea. While he was there he found that just by looking at compatriots’ faces he knew if their time was up. This affected him somewhat so he kept this knowledge to himself. In 1953 he was demobbed and returned to Britain.
From 1953 to 1967 he had various jobs, after which he trained for three years and became a registered mental nurse (RMN). He was affected by seeing things and hearing Spirit while looking after the mentally disturbed patients, but this gave him a better insight into the mind. Spirit guided him through all this, and the reason was clear. He found he could diagnose problems just by looking at someone. After twenty-five years he retired due to having a few heart attacks and in 1990 underwent a coronary bypass (he was later told he had died twice on the operating table, which he already knew because he had had an out-of-body experience, watching the doctors repair his heart).
Since then he has taken things easy, but his gift is still with him. Over the years he has given thousands of readings to the public and also given lectures on esoteric psychology. He can still do spiritual work, but since his son was attacked in October 2001 has been looking after him.
More recently, he has started to write poetry and has had four books published. He has also written a book called Tails you Win, Heads you Lose relating the circumstances of his son’s unprovoked attack and his six-month recuperation in hospital. He is currently working on another book, The Rehabilitation of a Brain-damaged Person.
Preface
My endeavour to write this book opened up a new field of experience for me. It was a challenge in every respect and at times influenced my way of life, in no uncertain terms.
Beyond the Material World in a sense became an obsession with me. The inner workings of the Mind fascinated me, especially being able at the same time to enrich people’s minds with my clairvoyant reality. I do not claim to be the bee’s knees, but may I say with enthusiasm I hoped my account would promote some ideal in this pursuit to bring into manifestation the way forward regarding this phenomena when put into practice the methods to use in your daily lives. The mysterious journey of the soul through matter explains the way the human psyche becomes a concept to be reckoned with. Abstract thought processes enable the mind to work on a higher plane of existence.
Once this realisation is apparent, the brain, mind and soul aspects begin to function in harmony, creating a vacuum whereby information comes through in most cases, opening a metaphysical door beyond the physical senses. I hope this book will give the reader an insight if possible into this amazing adventure into the unknown.
What more can be said about the intricate details within this book? The reader should form their own opinion regarding its contents, but, in the process, if the reader gains some insight all well and good. If not, nothing ventured, nothing gained. So I have told you very little but in the process given you ideas for you to implement in your daily life. I wish you well on your journey and may peace and blessings go hand in hand towards the achievement accorded to your soul.
The Most Caring
The most caring person I have ever known, not once have
I heard her mourn
The most selfless individual on God’s earth
Reminds me of an Angel sent from above
Giving everything to everyone and her Love
Nothing in this world can compare
With her goodness which is very rare
Peace and happiness she gives
To everything that lives
Wherever this person may be
Goodness and mercy you will see.
A wonderful light she portrays
Not a dull moment, sending heavenly rays
To those in need.
This Lady is one of a kind
The thirsty and hungry, she will feed.
Who is the person? May I mention her?
No other than my loving wife, Barbara.
Dedication
I dedicate this book first of all to my wife, Barbara, who stood by me through thick and thin and never complained about the wages I brought home in those days. She encouraged me in my quest to become an RMN. Through lonely times she gave me strength and I am proud to be her husband and will never forget how in times of stress and doubt, she was always there for me, God bless her.
I also dedicate this book to my work colleagues who stood by me knowing I was different from them and helped me in my endeavour to become a good nurse.
Last but not least I am proud of my mother who, from time to time, also gave me strength and her dedication to be what I am today, knowing for a fact that being what I am is very difficult under the circumstances.
I would not change my gift; it has been a wonderful experience and will be with me for the rest of it.
My Earthly and Spiritual Mother
This page I will dedicate to my mother who gave me life and love and cared for me through thick and thin. She was always by my side, holding me by the hand. As she was a medium and clairaudient I was brought up with this awareness from a young age. I do not have much to report about my father as he was more material and down to earth in his outlook.
Times were very hard in the thirties before the War, but we had our good times as well as the bad ones. We then appreciated the good ones all the more.
My mother would take me to places where there was a meeting going on, a spiritual meeting. Sometimes you could count the number of people there on one hand; other times it was so very crowded you were unable to sit down. I was told it depended on the person taking the meeting.
So you see I grew up in this environment and it became the norm to me. Many times my mother was asked to take a meeting and it was booked out. This also happened at other places she spoke at. I can still see her now upon the platform giving out messages to the sitters. I remember those days as if they were yesterday. Although my mother is in the spirit world, our link has become stronger and I know for a fact my mother still gives me strength and guidance whenever needed. I always say to people your mother is your best pal bar none and will always be there for you, regardless. I thank you mother for all you gave me to help me
