About this ebook

I had been a nurse for more than 2 decades and I witnessed 2 definite situations in the hospital or in the community either to recover or die. In this kind of situation I noticed various emotional and behavioral displays. For people who recovers it is a celebration of life but for a dying person, fear, struggles, anxiety, screaming, yelling for help sets in and the joy, rest, peace with great expectations begun to marvel. Why?

I was 9 years old sickly, frail and scared of death wanting to go to heaven but I dont know how? I recovered and I was glad but still with a big question how will I go to heaven? I was clueless.

While I was still a nursing student assigned in a hospital, I heard someone screaming loudly, I dont want to go. I saw a big muscled man struggling and fighting with no one around. Few hours later I discovered that he died of internal bleeding with wide open eyes and mouth. A sign of struggle? Why?

    Introduction

The Bible Study Manual is divided into 4 parts. The first part is about different life experiences, testimonies of a person. The second part is the Word of God the New King James Version. This is to ensure participation of each member even without their own Bible. The third part are guide questions for each participants to answer. The fourth part are activities that will encourage practical application of the study. The author hopes to encourage active interactions and focus on the study.

Life experiences were gathered through different true to life experiences of the person and with permission of that person it has been part of the life experiencing lesson. In this part the facilitator will assign each member to read each experience to allow group participation.

Facilitator has to let each member read the scripture and follow whatever instructions indicated for the readers to do. This technique will help the member to truly immerse themselves in the Word of God. I believe that constant repetition will enhance retention. The facilitator has to ensure that each member has each part to do. Any new comer, is encouraged to share. This study can be photocopied with permission. It is advisable to use pencil in this manual.

The third part are guide questions where the facilitator needs to ask each member to answer based on the Word of God and write them on the space provided.

The fourth part is the group activity that facilitates practical application in life. Each member has to answer the activity questions read them to the group. The testimony can be done separately as a special culminating activity for the study. It is the facilitator’s choice to make it creatively. Don’t underestimate your testimony because out from it, is the power of encouragement.

Appendix are in the last part of the book where the facilitator can browse the instructions of every activity of each lesson.

It is a must for facilitator to pray that others may come to know the Lord and be saved.

This work is my whole heart offering to our God Almighty.
