The Elusive but Cherished Memory: An Anthology of Poems

About this ebook
The Elusive but Cherished Memory is Thabanis first book. It is an anthology of poems in which he depicts a wide range of themes such as the harmony of nature, love, cultural attitudes and beliefs as well as his own personal convictions about life, which he believes are prejudices in their own right. Thabani gets into the shoes of those who have gone through certain experiences and expresses their joys and sorrows as if they were his own. He also skilfully portrays the insight he draws from witnessing events as they unfold before him.
Thabani Ray Ngwenya
Thabani is a final year accounting sciences student at the University of South Africa. Originally from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, where he was a member of the Joshua Nkomo Fellowship of Scholars, he now resides in Johannesburg, where he is studying towards a career in Chartered Accountancy. Poetry is not part of his area of study, but he feels it defines him. He believes anyone with the passion, time, and pen can learn to express him/herself in poetic prose. An excellent public speaker, he normally uses his public-speaking prowess to share his passion for poetry.
