About this ebook

What if a nation was truly controlled by a purely capitalistic society? What if the symbol of that society came in the form of the modern gangster? In the country of Begistan, power belonged to the Marzins, a family with a criminal legacy that tries to hold on to everything they have as their patriarch, a former old-school mob boss turned president of the country, is assassinated.

However, as the Marzins and the rest of Begistan try to get their lives back in order, a new menace arrives in Begistan known as the Prince of Thieves. Using unconventional means of attack, he brings the Marzins and Begistan to a standstill and challenges the legacy of the God of Gangsters as political change is in the air and Begistan's peace is once again put to the test like it never has been before.

    Ordered Anarchy - Justin Conley

    PART ONE:

    GANGS OF BEGISTAN

    ROOK

    Hello Begistan:

You may not know who I am, but I definitely know who you are. I have seen you go through so many changes and you have been taken to so many places. Well, I will take you to another place, because for so long I have left you alone. I have ignored you, hoping that you would change. But I see that I must return to the forefront; return to the throne that I never claimed.

I am still a prince. But soon, Begistan, I will become king. Then, I will be God!

    See you soon!

    Sincerely,

    The Prince of Thieves

    ****

Cortez Teo was fixing breakfast for his daughter Josita, or Josie for short, as he always did. She was reaching puberty, but Teo always saw her as his little girl, the future of a criminal franchise he was creating. He was halfway there as he made the ultimate move that got him much closer to the prize he sought: being the number one gangster in Begistan.

When she was done, he would go and make sure she had on the right clothes as he straightened out his suit. It was one of the rare times he wore one, as he was used to wearing baggy jeans and do-rags.

Once everything was settled, Josie headed for the black Bugatti and entered the passenger side. Then, he came out the front door of his house and to the car. He pushed a button and the customized door slid open.

When both were inside, he was about to push button start it, but his daughter stopped him.

Can I push the button? Josie asked, smiling mischievously. I mean, I'm going to be driving it soon, right?

You got a long way to go before that happens, sweetheart, Cortez said. But you know what, I guess it won't hurt.

Josie pushed the button and heard the engine roar. Both could hear the engine spin and both chuckled as they realized how easy things had become with cars, as they did not need keys to turn it on.

All that changed when suddenly out of nowhere, the Bugatti exploded. Both bodies of father and daughter blew up to the point their skin evaporated and all that was left was flaming bones. The boom could be heard all over the neighborhood and all the neighbors could do was call for help.

But it was too late for Cortez or his daughter, as they became new casualties in the underground crime war.

    ****

Detective Evan Denton observed the Begistan Fire Department tend to what was left of the explosion. Sucking on a lollipop, he just shook his head.

    Damn shame!

Then, he turned and strolled to his partner Naira.

Can you believe this shit? Evan asked. Cortez Teo! I figured if someone would survive this war longer than the others, it would be him.

Naira stared forward as they were trying to get what was left of Cortez and Josita Teo.

I think Omar Sharron has something to do with this, Evan continued. All this started when he disappeared. Since then, Billy Kane got blasted, Sergio Salvatore got gutted, and now Cortez Teo gets blown up. What do you think?

Naira said nothing. As much as she wanted to feel sympathy for Cortez for helping her when she needed it, she knew that he was living on borrowed time and it was not going to be long before someone took a shot at him.

Then, another cop came to him with a letter in a bag. Detective! We found this taped to the door.

Putting on black rubber gloves, Evan took the letter and began reading it.

Hello Begistan! You may not know who I am, but I definitely know who you are. I have seen you go through so many changes and you have been taken to so many places... I have ignored you, hoping that you would change. But I see that I must return to the forefront. Return to the throne that I never claimed. I am still a prince. But soon, Begistan, I will be king. Then, I will be God…Sincerely, the Prince of Thieves!

He put the letter back into the evidence bag. Is this guy for real? Who the fuck is this Prince of Thieves? Maybe we need to tell our agents in Clevsin to be on the lookout for this guy. How do you feel about that, partner?

Naira just walked away from her partner and the crowd to give herself time to think, and Evan let her go, knowing better than to even ask. She entered the driver side of her car, closed her eyes, and laid her head back on the seat with only one thought in her head: if Begistan kingpins were dropping like flies, the Marzins had something to do with it one way or another.

    ****

Hold on one moment ma'am, said Evan. Let me see if my partner can help you.

Evan shook his head and then walked over to Naira's desk, who was immersed in her thoughts about what had just happened to Cortez.

Naira! said Evan to a startled Naira. Do you think you can help me out?

Naira shook her head with a smile on her face. Which one of your hoes is it now?

Nah, it’s not that, said Evan. I have this lady that's trying to file a missing person’s report.

So why are you coming to me? said Naira.

Because I’m already busy, said Evan with a smirk on his face. And I needed to redeem that favor that you owe me.

Naira looked over at Evan as he cut his eyes toward his desk. From across the room, Naira could see the blond-haired female escort sitting at his desk waiting for him with an extremely short skirt that asphyxiated every inch of her curves. Naira sighed heavily, rose from her chair and glared at Evan with the evil eye. Without saying a word, she headed into the interrogation room to speak with the lady.

Naira walked into the interrogation room with her notepad and Dunkin Donuts coffee and sat down calmly.

Hello, ma'am! My name is Detective Andres, said Naira. And you are?

    Mary Garcia.

Okay, Ms. Garcia, what exactly can I help you with?

Mary looked at Naira with a somber expression.  My son went missing about three weeks ago and I would like to file a missing person’s report.

Okay, I can help you with that. I’m just going to have to get some information from you, said Naira. Can you tell me his name?

     Omar Sharron.

Naira’s mouth dropped when she heard Mary say Omar’s name. Before Naira even got a chance to ask Mary the question, Mary responded.

I know what you are thinking. I know my son's a very bad person and has done a lot of bad things. Things that I’m not sure even God would forgive. Even though the public may view him as a monster, he's still my son. You're young. You'll understand once you have children.

Ms. Garcia, I promise you that we’re going to do everything we can to find your son, said Naira. Let me ask you this question. What makes you think he's missing?

The only thing Naira could think of while Mary Garcia was sitting there was Omar being bound and gagged as he laid helpless on Dobra's floor.

Every day, Omar calls me just to check in on me and has flowers delivered to me, said Ms. Garcia.

Do you know when he went missing? said Naira.

Ms. Garcia nodded. Yes! It was May 28th.

Naira frowned. What makes May 28th so significant? Maybe he took a flight out of town or to another country and didn’t have access to a phone.

It was my birthday, Ms. Garcia answered. Omar has never failed to call me and send me a gift.

Naira cleared her throat. Ms. Garcia, I’m just going to be blunt with you. Given Omar’s... occupation, it’s very likely that he’s dead.

Mary Garcia shook her head, grabbed Naira’s hand and looked her in the eyes with so much conviction that it left Naira speechless. No! If he were dead, I would know it. I know Omar's alive and I’m just asking can you please help me find my boy.

When Naira saw the look in Ms. Garcia’s eyes, she felt a little bit of remorse over what she had done to Omar. For a second, she entertained the thought of letting him go.

But that was only for a brief second.

The moment Mary Garcia left, Naira threw the missing person’s report in the trash and resumed her investigation into the Cortez murder.

    ****

Dobra was scanning through his emails of orders from other criminals on everything from weapons to hits. Thanks to the sudden murders of two more gang leaders, the GOGD Web had been gaining more prominence, which meant more money for Dobra to upgrade his system.

His glow diminished when Naira entered his home and barraged him with a question. Who is the Prince of Thieves?

Dobra's sarcastic nature seeped through. Hello, brother! How was your day? Oh, I'm doing okay, sis! How was yours?

Stop your bullshit! Who is the Prince of Thieves?

    The who of what?

Then, Naira threw the plastic wrap containing the letter. Dobra took a couple of glances and immediately recognized the words.

Where did you get this? He asked, smiles completely gone.

So you know what this is?

Dobra presented his screen to Naira and it showed some emails with the same message as the letter. Apparently, you're not the only one getting this message. My sales have been going through the roof since Cortez Teo got burned.

I think he had something to do with this. I need to find him.

And do what exactly? Dobra asked. I mean, you do know you're defending a criminal who killed other criminals, right? As far as I'm concerned, he had that shit coming.

And his daughter? Does she deserve what happened?

Dobra could see that she was too invested in the death of Cortez Teo. He turned his chair around so he could see her face clearly when he asked her.

    What is this really about?

I just told you, Naira said.

Bullshit! This is more than just about the daughter of some kingpin. You never gave a fuck about it before and now all of a sudden, you're so worried about solving his murder?

Then, Naira sat down in one of his turning chairs. Mary Garcia came to see me.

    Mary Garcia?

Omar Sharron's mother. She wanted to know what happened to her son.

    And did you tell her?

    No!

Does she know he might be dead?

    He's...not dead!

Dobra was taken aback. And why the hell is he not? Isn't that what you wanted?

I wanted him to pay. So I had Cortez help me do that. He was supposed to finish the rest of the plan. But I'm starting to think that never happened.

Dobra shook his head. I guess I should have just killed him. This is not what the fuck we need right now. This fool back on the street looking for revenge. So...what the fuck are you going to do about it? If he's still in Begistan, finding him now is not going to be easy.

That was when Naira got up abruptly.

Where are you going? Dobra asked.

    There's someone that might know.

    ****

As the summer was coming to a close, the Begistan underworld has seen some twists and turns. As of the moment, four of the five leaders of the major gangs have either been killed or disappeared.

There was only one left, and Naira Marzin was on her way to them.

Flashing her badge at the Dollhouse, a lesbian club that was a part of the Rainbow Pound moneymaking machine, Naira entered the establishment following one of the workers as she approached the office door of its owner.

With two knocks on the door, someone said, You may enter!

When Naira went inside, she could see that the owner was preoccupied with another female in slutty clothing licking her thighs.

    Well, this is no surprise.

The female owner look up to find Naira glaring at her.

    AH! MI CORAZON!

She pushed the prostitute away, put back on her panties, and with hardly anything but lingerie on her body, went to hug the one other woman she cared about next to her own wife.

Just as she was getting reacquainted, her better half entered the door and from there, it became a family reunion of sorts. Both older women hugged the younger Naira as the middle Marzin daughter stood in the presence of the charismatic, married team of Dylan and Charlee Ryder, lesbian leaders of the Rainbow Pound.

The prodigal daughter has returned, said the shorter, nerdy-looking but blunt woman of the two, Charlee Ryder. So what brings you here? I know you didn't come here to see how we're doing.

    I'm here on police business.

The taller, statuesque Dylan chuckled. That’s still a thing here?

Who is this about? Charlee asked.

Cortez Teo. And this...Prince of Thieves? I need to know what hand you had in it.

Well, you're wasting your time here, Charlee said. We had nothing to do with it and we're not shedding tears for him, either!

    And his daughter? Naira asked.

Well, that's why we never had kids. After a while, they become nothing but collateral damage.

Dylan stopped them from talking as Charlee sat in the power seat chair once sat in by Dylan as she was getting her fill of vagina. She didn't mean that. What she meant to say is that we're not that...overly concerned about someone that wanted to take over what we have!

No, what I want to know is why you give a shit about Cortez Teo? Charlee interrupted.

Because it's my job, Naira responded.

    Try again!

What do you want me to tell you?

Charlee just shook her head. You look just like her. Just like your mother. And that look you're giving me now tells me everything I need to know.

Okay, now you're confusing me, Dylan said.

Charlee stood up and sat at the foot of her desk. That's the little thing about vengeance. Everybody wants to act, but have no way to deal with the consequences. People think vengeance is all follow-through with no aftermath. That look in your eyes was the same look I saw in someone else. It says everything. So what exactly did you do?

    Do to who?

Omar Sharron! He's still alive, isn't he?

Charlee knew all about Naira’s obsession with taking down Omar Sharron. Many times, she imagined putting a bullet in his head, but she also knew that she would be no different than the gangsters in Begistan. This was why she never took the chance to do anything until Dobra brought it to her attention and helped her with the problem.

Charlee continued as she moved closer to Naira. I'm sure you put him in a bad predicament, which means if he's still around, he'll be coming for you soon. That's why you're so concerned over Cortez. He helped out with it, didn't he? In exchange for what, I wonder. Maybe taking over the Bloodcrippers, which didn't happen because someone else already has that title.

Look, can you help me out or not?

Cortez Teo is dead, and you'll never find out who did it because that would mean you would have to go through Hell's gates. AKA... She went to Naira’s ear and whispered seductively, Your family's chamber door.

Not flinching from the pheromones Charlee was giving off, Naira asked, Are you saying that the Marzins have something to do with this? Why would they even be involved?

I'm saying you already have the answers, yet you refuse to go there. That's why you came here, hoping I can relieve you of that burden. Alas, little girl, I cannot. One way or another, you will have to face them.

    Them?

Your brothers and sisters. The legacy of a man you refuse to recognize. Despite what you may feel, he's your father. But the name does not have to be synonymous with that. That's why your mother gave you the Marzin name. If someone could make the name mean something noble, it's you. But you'll have to face them if you want the resolution you seek. Just know this. No matter what you decide, your mother would have been very proud of you.

Naira put her head down slightly and Dylan Ryder, being the comfort in the storm, brought her into her arms and hugged her as if she was still that little girl she always wanted.

    KNIGHT MOVES

Naira walked into the private building where her prisoner, former Bloodcripper leader Omar Sharron, was being held, hoping that she would still find him there after the swirling rumors.

With Cortez dead, she suspected that Omar had bribed some of the guards to let him out.

To Naira’s surprise, when she walked into the door, Omar was standing inside of his cell naked. Naira could not help but snicker when she saw Omar pacing around like a scared cat.

Due to the extremely high doses of female hormones he was being given to suppress his production of testosterone, his penis had shrunk down to the size of a toddler’s thumb and his scrotum which had shrunk to the size of a baby tangerine.

To make matters worse, the pecs on his muscular-toned chest had begun to form into breasts.

My how the mighty have fallen. said Naira with a huge smirk on her face, satisfied that Omar was getting his just desserts.

FUCK YOU, YOU FUCKING BITCH! yelled Omar in a fit of rage.

Naira exploded in laughter. With that dick it doesn’t look like you will be fucking anything ever again.

As Omar shook his head tears began to well up in his eyes. I swear to God I’m going to make you pay for this.

I’m sure you will, but in the meantime, what can you tell me about the Prince of Thieves? Naira asked smugly.

Why in the fuck would I help you?

Naira walked up to the unbreakable glass cage and looked Omar directly in the eyes.

Why? Because a year from now, you're going to be sex trafficked to Russia and all your manly traits and strengths will be gone. You're going to be a vagina-toting bitch, like the many women you've raped. Picture two huge, 6’11, Russian men holding you down. One's ramming his 13-inch cock into your ass while the other is shoving his dick down your throat. Amid you screaming through gasps for air and gags, I'll be standing there spectating. And you'll look at me and beg for my help and I'll say, ‘Why in the fuck would I help you?’"

Omar looked at Naira and took a huge gulp, knowing that she was dead serious. He was trapped at the mercy of a scorned Naira Marzin.

No one really knows who the Prince of Thieves is. But if he's back, then all hell is about to break out in Begistan. Years ago, your father contended with him and nearly loss everything. The Prince of Thieves burned down like 20 of your father’s high profile businesses. He nearly brought down your father’s entire empire and the thing was no one could find or stop him. It was like he was a fuckin’ ghost.

Naira squinted. How did my father stop him?

He didn’t! Omar responded. The same way he just randomly appeared, the Prince of Thieves just stopped one day and disappeared, never to be heard from again. The best person to give you answers as to who the Prince of Thieves maybe is Florin. He knows everything about the old guard.

Naira turned around and headed towards the door. Thanks Omar! When they are holding you down and fucking the shit out of you...I'll try my best to remember to tell them to use a condom.

Omar yelled, YOU FUCKING BIITTTCCCHHHHH! to the top of his lungs and then began pounding on the glass until his hands began bleeding.

    ****

A day after Naira met with Omar, she found herself in a private meeting face-to-face with Florin in his office in the Presidential Palace to get answers about the Prince of Thieves.

From the moment when she first sat down, Florin stared at her in a sort of an awe. It’s amazing how much you look like your father. I know you two weren’t close but how---

If it is alright with you, can we just focus on the Prince of Thieves? said Naira.

    Florin grinned. Certainly!

So...what can you tell me about the Prince of Thieves? Naira asked again impatiently.

Florin sat down in his large soft chair and got very comfortable. Ten years ago, he appeared one day in Begistan and nearly brought your father’s empire as well as many of his rivals' businesses to its knees. He struck their organization so hard and fast that before they had a chance to recover from the loss of one business, he dealt another fatal blow to the next. In the wake of his destruction, twenty of Apsar’s most affluent businesses in which he had high profile clientele were shut down and 15 of his most trusted capos were dead. This was lite in comparison to some of Apsar’s rivals who loss hundreds of businesses and soldiers.

Florin got up and walked to the window. As he stared out at Begistan, he reminisced on all the chaos and devastation that The Prince of Thieves caused.

You know many people thought Apsar was the Prince of Thieves. They thought he orchestrated all of it as sort of a Final Solution to wipe out all of his enemies.

And what do you think? said Naira.

Apsar would never have killed his child.

What? Naira inquired. What are you talking about?

When the war with the Prince of Thieves broke out, another one of Apsar’s mistresses was four months pregnant with his child. said Florin. Unfortunately, she was the casualty of the war. Apsar had just come back with Jessica from her ultrasound in which he found out that he was going to have a boy. The moment Jessica stepped out of the car, a bullet struck her in the stomach.

Florin took a sip of Yamazaki and then continued with the story. Needless to say, Jessica and the baby ended up dying that night. Women come and women go, but Apsar was never the same after his son’s death. Apsar Marzin II...was the last victim of the Prince of Thieves before he vanished.

So no one knows anything about him? Naira asked.

"Here's what I think you're not understanding. No one knows what the Prince of Thieves looks like. Again, it's like he's a fucking ghost."

I don’t get it. Everyone acts as if this Prince of Thieves is some fucking Keyser Soze or some gangster god, but he isn't. He's a fucking man that eats, shits and breathes, and can be arrested.

Well, good luck in finding your 'fucking Keyser Soze,' Detective, Florin acknowledged.

Frustrated that she was no closer to finding the Prince of Thieves, Naira left without saying another word to Florin.

You know I could lay here forever holding you, said Rand, holding Dulce tightly in his arms.

Still wrapped in Rand’s muscular embrace, Dulce turned around so that she could see Rand's face.

So what’s stopping you? Dulce asked.

Dulce immediately climbed on top of Rand. Before she could even began the foreplay, Rand’s phone began vibrating.

Don’t answer it, said Dulce as she ran her tongue up from Rand’s collar bone to his neck.

Seeing that it was Dinar, Rand quickly picked up the phone.

    Hey, what’s up? said Rand.

WHERE THE FUCK HAVE YOU BEEN?

Knowing that it was Dinar on the other end, Dulce slid her way down to the foot of the bed and began to give Rand fellatio to distract him.

Rand tried his best to keep focus with what he was saying. I…. I…. I’ve been trying to handle business. What’s going on?

WE'RE GOING TO WAR! I NEED YOU TO GET OVER HERE NOW.

    War with who? said Rand.

Rand thought that Dinar was on one of his rants again so he really did not pay him any attention. He just laid back trying his best not to moan until his heard Dinar’s response.

    THE FUCKIN’ PRINCE OF THIEVES!

When Rand heard the Prince of Thieves, he gently shoved Dulce’s head away from his crouch and quickly got up. Give me an hour and I’ll be there.

Rand hung up the phone seconds before Dulce shouted, WHAT THE FUCK!

Dulce was about to let Rand have it, but she could tell by the expression on his face that he was seriously troubled.

I’m going to be gone for a couple of days, said Rand as he stood up and quickly put on his clothes.

    What's going on? said Dulce.

Dinar, told me that we're at war with the Prince of Thieves.

    Confused, Dulce squinted. Who?

I don’t have time to explain right now, but I'll tell you everything that's going on when I get back.

Before you leave, I want you to promise me something.

    What’s that?

Promise me that you'll come back to me, said Dulce tenderly.

Rand looked Dulce directly in the eyes and told the best lie he could, I promise you that I'll come back to you.

Rand kissed Dulce on the forehand and embraced her in his arms as if it would be the last time he would see her.

    ****

When Rand arrived Dinar was in an uproar, panicking and pacing his living room with a pistol in his hands.

    What happened Dinar? said Rand.

When I woke up this morning and went into Kina’s room to wake her up for breakfast, this letter was lying on her.

Rand took the letter and read it:

    Dinar,

You may not know who I am, but I definitely know who you are. Currently, we have a common interest, which is your wife Dulce. Recently, she has been causing me a lot of trouble, as she has been meddling in a lot of my business affairs.

Being that she's your wife, you're partly responsible for everything that she does. So what I propose is a joint business deal. You kill Dulce and I will not kill Kina. I have also taken the liberty to attach a chronograph to remind you of how much time you have.

If Dulce is not dead within 24 hours, it will signify to me that you are declining this generous offer that I am extending to you. In which I will kill Kina, as well as Dulce, and your brother Rand. I sincerely hope that you will be able to see how beneficial this deal will be to both parties.

    Respectfully,

    The Prince of Thieves

Rand balled up the letter and threw it in the fireplace.

How in the fuck did he get in here? said Rand.

Before Dinar could respond, Kina ran into the living room and hugged Rand.

    UNCLE RAND!

Rand picked up Kina in his arms, lifted her in the air and gave her a barrage of kisses on the cheek. Kina just giggled and laughed as Rand held her.

Uncle Rand, you smell like Mommy! said Kina.

When Kina made that statement, Rand and Dinar both stared at each other.

Nah, baby! Uncle Rand’s new girlfriend wears the same perfume as your mommy.

Kina, why don’t you go in your room, baby? Your Uncle Rand and I have some business to discuss.

"Uncle Rand, before you leave again can we go to the movies and see Boss Baby? Daddy, said when you get back in town we would all go see that movie."

Sure, I don’t see why not, said Rand.

    Okay! Love you, Uncle Rand!

Kina hugged Rand’s leg and went back into her room. A still silence fell across the room as Dinar and Rand watched Kina walk back into the room.

So what are we going to do about Dulce? said Rand.

She’s dead, said Dinar without even giving it another thought.

I thought you were in love with her. said Rand.

Dinar snickered. Yeah, well when it comes down to it, I love Kina a whole lot more. I can live without Dulce, but I can’t live without Kina.

Dinar, we need to think about this.

Think about what? We have less than 19 hours to kill Dulce before this Prince of Thieves goes after Kina.

We can make sure that doesn’t happen.

How? Finding and killing The Prince of Thieves? Dinar asked. Do you know how many years Father tried to find and kill this prick? I’m not about to take a gamble on Kina’s life. Especially not for that crazy bitch!

Dinar, just think about this for a second, Rand stressed. Naira's a detective. The watch and letter that he left, it could have his fingerprints on it.

Dinar shook his head. You don’t get it. I don’t give a fuck about Naira, I don’t give a fuck about this Robin Hood and I don’t give a fuck about Dulce. The only thing I care about right now is keeping Kina safe. Dulce has to die!

Fine! Do you have any idea about who's going to do the hit? Rand asked.

    Dinar smirked. We are.

Without warning Dinar picked up the phone in front of Rand and called Dulce using FaceTime.

    Hello! said Dulce.

Dulce, where are you? said Dinar in a stressed out tone.

Dulce took another sip of champagne and bit one of her chocolate covered strawberries. I’m downtown why?

    WHERE?

I’m at the spa at the Luxistan Towers. Why?

I need to get Kina to you ASAP.

What have you done now, Dinar? said Dulce with a long sigh.

I don’t know what the fuck you're doing right now, but I need you to get off your ass right now. This fucking Prince of Thieves has put out a hit on Kina.

    WHAT!

When I woke up this morning I found a letter saying, that if I didn’t kill Rand within 12 hours then he'll kill Kina.

    What… I can’t beli…. Where the fuck is Rand?

I don’t know. He’s the last of my concern. Right now, I just need to get Kina to you.

With a crowd of people watching Dulce walked through the lobby half naked and got on the elevator. Okay, I’ll be waiting for you at the Penthouse Suite.

Dulce, I’m trusting you with our daughter’s life. Please...don’t fuck up.

    I won’t.

Knowing that Dulce would be calling his phone like crazy, Rand put his phone behind his back and powered it down. He knew that whoever called his phone Dinar would be asking who it was. And the last thing Rand wanted was for Dinar to hear a conversation with Dulce.

Dinar cocked the trigger of the nine-millimeter. Alright, let’s go get her.

Rand stood looking at Dinar with a dumbfounded expression on his face. You're a fucking piece of work.

    ****

As Rand and Dinar rode the elevator up to the Penthouse Suite of the Luxistan Towers, Rand’s inner demons began to emerge and play Devil’s Advocate. Rand entertained the thought of letting the Prince of Thieves kill Kina. He thought that with her gone, there would be nothing connecting Dulce and Dinar and they would be free to leave and start a new life.

No sooner had that thought entered his mind, the thought of letting Dinar kill Dulce came into his mind. Rand thought that at the end of the day, Dulce was just an extremely good piece of vagina and she was expendable, but his niece Kina was not.

He thought about what Dinar had said: How he could live without Dulce, but he couldn’t live without Kina?

And in those very moments he made up his mind what he was going to do.

Rand pressed the emergency stop on the elevator.

What the fuck are you doing? Dinar asked.

I can’t let you do this, said Rand.

Infuriated, Dinar grinded his teeth. What?

If you kill Dulce, how will you be able to look into Kina's eyes and not forever feel guilt over the hurt that you're about to cause her?

Considering the fact that it's either her life or Dulce’s, I’ll manage. But you're not going to stop me.

    Dinar gripped the handle
