About this series

Becky Carlson has lived in the picturesque seaside town of Holly Blue Bay all her life. She loves everything about the town, especially her job at The Holly Blue Bay Gazette. Her favourite place in town is the pier with its colourful mix of kiosks and amusements. It's whilst she's standing on the pier one day that an incident occurs which leads to her meeting Robin Hartman, a man who takes her breath away the moment they lock eyes.

Robin Hartman is a structural engineer who is in Holly Blue Bay for work reasons. One sunny day, he sails past the town's pier and catches a sunhat which has escaped from its owner. Ten minutes later, he returns the hat to the owner - a beautiful woman called Becky. One look into her eyes and he is lost.

Circumstances concerning Becky's work cause her to spend time with Robin. They soon get to know each other and find they have lots in common. The attraction between them is obvious.

All is going well until Robin reveals why he's in Holly Blue Bay, and how if affects Becky's beloved pier. Becky is horrified at the news and wonders if she can ever be friends again with Robin.

Will the couple overcome their challenges and admit their love for each other?
