About this ebook
The Handbook of Hair Oils brings together a comprehensive selection of Natural Oils that in one way or another are beneficial for the hair and, or scalp. These oils are not only excellent conditioners but in many cases they assist in the regeneration, nourishing, sheen, re-hydration, regrowth, acceleration of growth and over all, general hair care.
If any one item could be said to be the 'work horse' of hair care products, it would have to be Hair Oil.
Not only are these oils inexpensive in the vast majority of cases, but they are also easy to obtain chemical free and safe to use, quite aside of the fact that they actually work!
All of this has been something of a revelation for me over the years and I am very happy to be able to share my knowledge. There has been a resurgence of interest in Hair Oils over the past few years and although they have been around for a very long time, their usefulness was rather ignored in the West until quite recently.
They certainly deserve the attention that they are now receiving and I hope that this book will increase the knowledge base on this topic and enable those interested to make good choices according to their personal hair care needs.

Lyse Mai Lauren
Lyse Lauren grew up in Nelson, New Zealand as the third of four children. Her 'known' world was abruptly shaken when she had a brief but profound spiritual experience as a child. Just a few years later she was 'challenged' yet again when dragged out to sea by ocean currents and almost drowned. These two events were the catalyst for a pronounced intention to discover the 'meaning of life.' Driven by this deep inner longing, she travelled to Australia and eventually to Tibet, Nepal and then India, where she met her Master, a Tibetan Lama of high standing. In his presence she was able to rediscover what she had glimpsed as a child. Over a period of several decades she has lived near her teachers in various locations in the Himalayas.
