      •Medium (worsted) weight acrylic yarn:

      25 oz/1280 yds/710g white (A)

      15 oz/765 yds/424g pastel print (F)

      5 oz/256 yds/142g each pink (B), yellow (C), blue (D) and green (E)

      •Sizes H/8/5mm and I/9/5.5mm crochet hooks or size needed to obtain gauge

      •Size J/10/6mm Tunisian crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge

      •Tapestry needle

      •Fiberfill

      Gauge

      Tunisian hook: 16 sts = 4 inches; 15 rows = 4 inches

      Size H hook: 3 rnds = 3 inches

      Pattern Notes

      Weave in loose ends as work progresses.

      Join with slip stitch as indicated unless otherwise stated.

      Chain-3 at beginning of round counts as first double crochet unless otherwise stated.

      Rnd 2: Join F in any corner ch-2 sp, ch 3, (dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in same corner ch-2 sp, sk next dc, 2 dc in next dc, sk next dc, [(2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in corner ch-2 sp, sk next dc, 2 dc in next dc, sk next dc] around, join in 3rd ch of beg ch-3. Fasten off. (24 dc)

      Rnd 3: Join A in any corner ch-2 sp, ch 3, (2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in same corner ch-2 sp, [sk next 2 dc, 2 dc in sp between dc sts] twice, sk next 2 dc, *(3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in next corner ch-2 sp, [sk next 2 dc, 2 dc in sp between dc sts] twice, sk next 2 dc, rep from * around, join in 3rd ch of beg ch-3. Fasten off.

      Assembly

      With size H hook and A, following placement chart, join blocks, working in back lps (see Stitch Guide) of sts of Rnd 3 matching sts, sc Blocks tog 10 by 12 blocks.

      Border

      Rnd 1: With size H hook, join A in top right-hand corner ch-2 sp, ch 3, 4 dc in same corner ch-2 sp, dc in each dc and each ch sp on each side of each joining seam around, work 5 dc in each corner ch-2 sp, join in 3rd ch of beg ch-3. Fasten off.

      Rnd 2: Join F in top of beg ch-3 of previous rnd, ch 1, sc in each of first 2 dc, (ch 3, sl st) in last sc made, *sc in each of next 2 dc, (ch 3, sl st) in last sc made, rep from * around, join in beg sc. Fasten off.
