Beyond the Frontier has her outstanding short stories which are translated to english. Anthology of Tamil Pulp Fiction also has her 2 short stories.

      சீதாராமன் அண்ணாந்து பார்த்தான். தந்திக் கம்பியின் மேலிருந்த காக்கை ஒன்று அவன் கையில் எச்சமிட்டிருந்தது. கொஞ்சம் தலையிலும் தவிர காலருக்கருகிலும். புறங்கையிலும் கூட லேசாக மஞ்சளோடிய காக்கை எச்சம் விழுந்திருந்தது. சீதாராமனுக்கு அருவறுப்பாயிருந்தது. அதை விட அருகில் பஸ்சுக்குக் காத்திருந்தவர்கள் பார்த்துவிட்ட அவமானம் அதிகமாயிருந்தது. அவன் என்ன செய்யப்போகிறான் என்பதையே ஆவலோடு கவனித்தார்களே தவிர எவரும் உதவ முன் வரவில்லை. சீதாராமன் எரிச்சலடைந்தான். எச்சத்தை கழுவிக் கொள்ள நீர் வசதி இருக்கிறதா என்று சுற்றிலும் பார்த்தான். எதுவுமில்லை. அவனுக்கு என்ன செய்வதென்று புரியவில்லை. அருகில் வீடும் எதுவுமில்லை, கடைகள் தான் இருந்தன. பெட்டிக் கடையானாலும் நீர் கிடைக்கும். எல்லாம் ஃபேன்ஸி கடைகள் பணக்காரக் கடைகள். நீர் கொடுத்து உதவுவார்களா என்பது சந்தேகம்.

      எக்ஸ்கியூஸ்மி. என்ற குரல் பின்னால் கேட்க சீதாராமன் திரும்பினான்.

      கருப்பாய் சுமாரான உயரத்தோடு, சுமாரான அழகோடு ஒரு பெண்.

      அந்த பக்கம் வாங்க நா வாஷ் பண்ணி விடறேன்.

      சீதாராமன் வியப்போடு அந்தப்பெண்ணைப் பார்த்தான் அவள் பின்னால் போனான்.

      அவள் கைப்பை திறந்து தனது வாட்டார் பாட்டிலை எடுத்தாள். கொஞ்சமும் அருவறுப்பில்லாமல், அந்நியன் என்ற பயமும் இல்லாமல் துளித்துளியாய் நீர் விட்டு சுத்தம் செய்தாள். சீதாராமன் ஒரு பக்கமாக நனைந்திருந்தான்.

      கர்ச்சீப் இருந்தா எடுத்து ஈரத்தை துடைச்சுக்கங்க

      அவள் தன் கடமை முடிந்தது போல் அவன் நன்றியைக் கூட காதில் வாங்கிக் கொள்ளாமல் மறுபடியும் போய் பஸ்சுக்காக காத்திருக்கத் தொடங்கினாள்.

      சீதாராமன் ஈரம் துடைத்தபடி அவளருகில் வந்து மீண்டும் நன்றி சொன்னான்.

      பரவால்ல

      அதற்கு மேல் என்ன பேசுவதென்று சீதாராமனுக்குத் தெரியவில்லை.
