Expect more from yourself than others. The good news - everyone believes in what you show. Nobody can read your thoughts to know your doubts. The bad news - you can interpret every people's sight in a wrong way. Any weird reaction and you start worrying without any reason. Psychologists recommend listening to your "inner voice". Try a small experiment: write down every thought while you are lacking of self-confidence. Every time you start worrying, do a two-minute break. Take the list and remind yourself how good you are. Show to your mind the material proof of your self-confidence.
Positive statements. Remember the choice-to train? I know, I can, I know, I can! Positive statements are not about being oblivious to the not so positive but is about proper framing of your reality. Ever the most unpleasant event can be stated in some form of a positive statement. These statements allow you to build a productive positive outlook on life which supports your confidence in life. Having a positive outlook on life allows you to access far more of your abilities, thus, you are able to achieve more every day.
Exercise. Once you exercise, even just simple walking, you'll notice that you get this surge of adrenaline. This is because happy hormones are released and thus, you feel more confident about yourself, and more confident that you are actually capable of doing great things. Plus, once you exercise, you'll get to be happy and very beautiful, too.
This book will help you learn where to start in trying to pursue your passion.
Improving yourself takes time and effort. You have to be willing to make the changes and be committed to taking action rather than just reading about them.
The next step is to continue striving for personal development in order to achieve holistic growth as a person. Equally necessary is the need to sustain the positive changes you have made in yourself, particularly in the way you regard your own worth and in the way you deal with the people around you.

Chapter 1 - How to Skyrocket Your Self-Esteem
Experts define self-esteem as the overall perspective of a person on his or her value. It is one’s view of the self and one’s attitude towards it. Do you feel worthy? Do you feel capable? Are you proud of yourself? Are you encouraged? Do you know yourself, and are you proud of that? Only you can decide.
Saying negative things such as the ones listed below may seem harmless, but what you are doing is creating something in you that later becomes permanent. It soon becomes the cause of conditions such as eating disorders, depression, and panic attacks. Some of these things we say are:
I am a failure...
I am so fat/thin...
He/she will never look at me...
I can never...
What does a low self-esteem do?
1. Poor health as a result of eating disorders, and low energy levels because you are so busy pleasing everyone but yourself.
2. Missed career opportunities as a result of the echo in your mind that says you cannot do it. Low self-esteem makes you feel inappropriate and unworthy hence hinders you from taking risks and creating something.
3. Sexual problems are closely related to self-esteem issues because it is all about an individual’s problem with his or her image. Low self-esteem leads to low sex drive and addictions. People seek help for these only to discover that there existed deeper rooted issues that manifested themselves as sexual addiction or sexual problems.
4. Low self-esteem affects your emotions because you find yourself unable to put your feelings to the fore. It hinders you from accepting your weaknesses and sharing intimacy on many levels with a partner. You find yourself being either too shy and come across as aloof or too aggressive when all you needed was a shoulder to lean on.
The first step to developing your self-esteem is by challenging his messages of criticism to you. Replace them with opposite and positive messages. An example of a negative inner message is when you are ‘told’ These people will never like me,
I am too short and inappropriate,
or They think I am spoilt and stuck up.
Acknowledge your strengths and say I am the best there can ever be,
I am beautiful,
or I have a kind heart for helping people.
Be good to yourself
If you know that you would give a shoulder to a friend who is in a rough place, then you should do the same for yourself. You should be the first person to receive that care and commiseration. Give yourself that support; be a fellow with yourself and help ‘you.’ If you can give, then you should allow yourself to receive - especially during hard times. Be good and forgive yourself when something does not go as planned. Be gentle and support yourself instead of being critical when you fail, and most of all accept that things do not always turn out as expected.
Understand and put thought in all that you do
Make informed choices, and avoid impulsiveness. If you do not live mindfully, your brain freezes, it is no longer able to send meaningful messages to you because you keep doing the opposite. For instance, stop lying about things that you may not have or are not able to do. Stop lying to yourself that he or she loves you and that he or she will come around. Mixed signals will kill your mind. You are only making room for mental dysfunction. Do not trick your mind anymore into believing things that are not true and hence living a lie. Accept things the way they are; it is a daily walk.
Be responsible for you
Begin to realize that no one will come to make you feel better. To each one, life is given, and we have our own lives to live. You are therefore responsible for your own happiness. You can sit around and be gloomy about it all day, all year, and watch your life waste way, or you can take a stand and own your life and happiness.
Be self-assertive
Being assertive means living respectfully and in entirety of the human society. Self-assertiveness is upholding and standing for your rights while acknowledging those of others. It is striking a balance between being independent and being autonomous. Being a person with self-esteem means you know your rights and respect those of others too. It means you listen to other people also as much as you listen to yourself. Living as an assertive person is speaking and doing from your beliefs and feelings.
Seek for a mentor
If the source of your self-esteem comes from school, seek the help of your teachers. There are also other professionals in the education system that should help you with school issues. If you are being bullied or teased, for example, a teacher is someone trained to be an all-rounded instructor so he can help you.
Live with a Purpose
Living with purpose is not waiting upon chance to guide your life. It is refusing to be at the mercy of chance. It is being the initiator of your own course, the controller. Living without a purpose is waiting upon things to happen, for things to be handed down without initiative, for being reactive and drifting along.
When you begin to realize the power you have and start to plan your life, your self-esteem is nurtured. You become a wholesome individual day by day. Ask yourself: what is it I am going to achieve? How? Are my means appropriate? Do I need to make adjustments to my strategy? Living purposefully requires you to be conscious of what you do while rethinking purposes.
Living purposefully is a mark of success for people who enjoy control over their lives and are successful. Simply put, success in life requires that we live purposefully, knowing where we are going.
How to Invest in Yourself
The most profitable investment you can ever make is one that you make in yourself. Self-investment can yield instant pay-off and bigger future returns. If you want to become more productive, then you need to prioritize your growth both personally and professionally. It is the key to a more successful and enjoyable life.
Read to feed your brain
One of the things all successful people have in common is the passion for reading books. Read not just for entertainment. Take up reading as a hobby. Charles William Eliot once said, Books are the quietest and most constant of friends; they are the most accessible and wisest of counselors and the most patient of teachers.
Read books that increase your knowledge of the world and of yourself. Read materials that can teach you a new set of skills and help you to become a better version of yourself. Read books that challenge you and inspire you to step it up.
Invest in personal development courses
The mind works like a muscle. It gets much stronger when you use and exercise it. On the other hand, it becomes weaker if you do nothing with it. Engage in activities that challenge you. Try out something new. These things allow you to stretch your skillset to ways you have never reached before.
Learn a new language. Attend workshops and conferences. Improve your education in every possible way you can. New activities challenge you to discover new things that will otherwise remain hidden and untapped.
Explore your creativity
Every person has a gift of creativity. For some people, it is quite obvious but for others, it has to be unearthed. Tap into your creative side. It could hold the key to unlocking your highest potential.
Creativity is not just about creating beautiful things. Creativity can help you approach problems in
