I was born in on the south east coast of England near a coastal town called Dover in the UK. I spent most of my early years on the southeast coast. Despite a challenging and sometimes troubled youth, I moved into education and worked as a Youth Engagement Worker, Family Intervention Worker and Councillor for several years. From the fate of loss and a desire to do something different, I began traveling, exploring new cultures, pushing myself to my limits and stepping out of all comfort zones. My travels took me firstly to Brazil in 2008 and then on a momentous trip through southeast Asia in 2013, with a one-way ticket to Bangkok, where I have learnt scuba diving, learnt to drive and now have a bus licence I have enjoyed achieving set goals like climbing active volcanoes, playing amateur or semi-pro football in 4 continents, climbing three of the largest peeks in the world and have broken world records along the way. I am not just gloating but have an overwhelming passion to inspire others to get out and become the best version of themselves as travelling far, facing fears and dreaming big have formidable results. Now, I have turned my attention to writing about my experiences. My new book, A Single Step, All or Nothing recounts my adventures on my travels and how I somehow found myself at the same time. Today, I call the Northern Territory of Australia home accelerating my career working in remote aboriginal communities as a youth and community worker. I love the wide-open spaces and the satisfaction I get knowing I can achieve is extremely rewarding. I hope to become a well-known author one day, offering inspiration to others who want to take the plunge and see the world.

Introduction
I WOULD NEVER have thought I’d be so passionate about writing. Even if I did imagine myself being a writer, I was unable to know what it really was. But now, writing has become a part of me and I now can’t do without it.
These 25 benefits come purely from writing even though the editing, promoting and publishing process came later to make it a whole new experience.
Realistically, apart from a 60,000-word piece I wrote in Brazil (2008), I only started writing properly in November 2016. Since Brazil, I have written two full manuscripts of about 180,000 words each, so I have an incredible amount to learn. The sheer power of writing can sometimes be so phenomenal that you can be lost in the most life changing way.
Anyone can write a book, absolutely anyone. The power of turning that book from a first draft manuscript into a polished and finished book that will be available throughout the world via an eBook, hard back, soft back or even audiobook is there for the taking. The true power in writing and learning comes with the editing process which makes you more accurate, adaptable, and vigilant with your content.
Yes, paying for a professional editor costs some money. Although it is not necessarily essential, it is however advisable. If you put in the passion, determination, time and effort, then the money spent on a professional editor is only going to be
