About this ebook

Similar to all of the author’s previous books, I and my Father are One continues to be in the theme of body, mind and soul. This book in addition to examining certain Bible chapters, also delves more deeply into author, Keith Giemre’s interactions with the Holy Spirit, including his anointing with oil in October 2017.

Keith continues to be overwhelmed by how much the word in the Bible has changed in his eyes each time he reads a chapter out of it. It is almost as though scales are being removed from his eyes each time he reads a chapter. Taking a page daily of one of his Recalling the Word books, has often answered in one of the readings an aspect of the Bible that he had been contemplating.

This book includes details of an amazing experience concerning a spiritual detour on the way to Australia in 2017; as well as the author’s experience of winning a lottery jackpot together with the events that gave rise to the win; and how he arrived at a communication method with the Holy Spirit. It also continues to highlight the many ongoing synchronicities in his daily life.

There is much in the book that you will find challenges your thinking as well as being an enjoyable, easy read. We all have free will which comes with consequences. Choose life, and enjoy it to the full, spreading your light and love to all you meet.

Keith Giemre

Keith Giemre enjoyed an expansive and vibrant international accounting career culminating in his appointment as Executive Chairman of South African media giant, Primedia Broadcasting. Now retired, Keith lives in Cape Town just a few meters from the Atlantic Sea, with Table Mountain nestled on the left hand side of his iconic picture postcard balcony view. Keith's journey from relatively sheltered childhood in Pretoria to a point where both spiritual and material achievement are welded into an exceptional level of success, is detailed in his growing body, mind and soul series of books. Keith's books are aimed at adults who have begun to question the mysteries of life and are striving to make sense of it all. The books record the evolvement of Keith's own body, mind and soul, taking the reader from the out of body experience of a small boy, through 60 years of research into the familiar questions: Who are we? Why are we living on earth? And what happens to us when our earth body dies? And what happens to our soul after the earth death? Keith shares his personal journey through these questions in his 7-book series.

    Introduction

I started writing this book at a time I was awaiting the printing of my seventh book, which was the book I promised my late wife Sue that I would write: Remembering the Treasure Within. I have reproduced the conclusion from that book in chapter 1. This will provide the summary of my spiritual evolution at that time. That book has now been released, as have three further books while this book has remained unfinished during that time.

To give recognition to my very first book Unpacking Life which launched my series of books, I had intended to title this book New Unpacking Life. However, over time I have changed the title to better reflect its content – I and my Father are One.

The main emphasis of the book is to present the ‘word’ as it has evolved in my life, in as simple a form as possible. There can only be ‘one word and one God’. I have shown in this book that the word in the Old Testament and the New Testament are the same. In the Old Testament, the word was revealed and spoken by God himself to the Israelites, and also through his angels and prophets. In the New Testament, God’s Son Jesus Christ was the word made flesh: in this Testament he spoke and fulfilled the word that had been given to the Israelite nation through the prophets. The Son of God therefore came to earth to fulfil the word as given through the prophets and to save some of Abraham’s people who had lost their way in life. He did not come to save the Gentiles. There is only one Almighty God: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

I have always contended that when you evolve spiritually, you are showered with new particles of energy to encourage you to keep growing and evolving. I am beginning to realise that there is no end to spiritual evolvement. Each moment we are a different person, although the word remains the same. We are however viewing it through new eyes each time, which are themselves changing moment to moment. The significant event in the New Testament records Jesus Christ the Son of God, during His early years on earth, and then freely offering up His life on the cross to wipe away our illnesses, diseases, sicknesses and curses. Also, by the pouring out of His blood to wash away our sins, He offered us all the opportunity through faith in Him, of choosing eternal life, and in becoming righteous in the eyes of God. The New Testament therefore follows a number of significant events: His life; His time before the cross; the cross and then after the cross; His ascending.

When my wife passed away in June 2016, I had a difficult time comprehending her saying that she had to go, in order for me to fulfil my spiritual mission on earth. That had she stayed on earth, all my time, energy and focus would have been on looking after her. She did not believe that she would recover her health. I therefore am indebted to her, and feel I need to continue to write books to share my knowledge with others, and to continue to honour her giving up her life for me.

I have in this book introduced an innovation. This will be shown throughout the book as a ‘Spiritual Snapshot’. I will take some salient words out of a Bible chapter and highlight from which chapter/s these words originated. This should encourage you to read the chapter/s yourself, to understand the context of this spiritual snapshot.

    Conclusion

When you look at life in the most simple of ways, it becomes obvious that it is not as complicated as it first appears. In fact, the word ‘illusion’ does describe many events that take place in our lives. We have allowed ourselves to give life the label of being complicated, and in many instances, unfairly so! This is probably because we have allowed ourselves to become confused between the inner world and the outer world.

If we strip our life down to just the basic components, we can better attempt to understand it. We have a physical body, which follows the genetics of our parents. We also have a spiritual aura, which follows the blueprint of our co-created soul’s incarnation on earth. This aura feeds into our physical and spiritual body and supplies the energy and spiritual codes through a chakra network, all of which is invisible to most of us. This aura houses an emotional body as well as the mind – both the conscious and subconscious mind. It also contains the matrix from which our physical body is created moment-to-moment as we grow physically, emotionally and spiritually. Our original
