4 stars I liked how at the beginning Brenda tells really personal stuff about herself and why she eats sugar-free and white flour for herself. Also tells how different likes and allergies of her family makes it easy to add different flavors to all a lot of her recipes. Also in the front of Sugar-Free Mom she tells what she uses for different recipes and why. What she found works for different needs. If I had this cookbook I would be using those pages all the time. She also lets you know what recipes are diabetic and why. That is one thing I need to learn better. The pictures are a good. Makes me hungry. The banana bread is one I want to try or blueberry scones. She uses flax seed flower, coconut crystals, pumpkin seeds, chi seeds, but suggests if you are not gluten free you can use whole wheat flour. She gives lots of tips how to personalize the recipes. The cauliflower tatter tots looks good. I like how she adds fruits and vegetables to make recipes more healthy. I would love to have this cookbook. It would make a good present for someone trying to eat better and cut down on the sugars in their diets. I was given this ebook to read so I could give a honest review of Sugar-Free Mom and be part of it's blog tour.
