About this ebook
Like many soldiers returning from the war, Jenny's husband found it hard to adjust to a normal domestic life. He was traumatised and withdrawn and wouldn't talk of what happened in Europe. But Jenny had long ago received a telegram from the War Office and believed George was dead, yet here he was, covered in scars and claiming to bear the curse of the werewolf.
"The beast can only be killed by one who truly loves him," he said, but how can she love a man who locks her in the cellar when she tries to get a doctor to him, and how can she kill a man when her heart still grieves for him?
Jenny flees into the comfort of fairytale dreams and the protective arms of her neighbour, but the claws of the beast drag her back to the peril she must face.
Frank Garland
I intended to publish this fully illustrated, but present it here, compact and unadorned, so you may read it whilst I prepare my next work. I hope you enjoy reading it enough to comment on or review it wherever you find it.
