When Few Words Are Needed - A.A Wray

    EVERY HOUR, EVERY DAY

    I sit here, thinking

    Every hour, every day

    Wishing, hoping

    To take the pain away

    The pain is hidden

    Deep inside my heart

    And it never stops hurting

    No matter hard I try

    It's frustration that won't stop

    It's a stress that upsets

I can never seem to rid

    Of this certain unrest

And so I sit here, thinking

    Every hour, every day

Why I'm not out there, trying

    Why I'm here... failing away

    Every hour, every day

    AT THE BEAUTY

    Looking up at the stars

    And the dark blue

    Our eyes would shine

    At the beauty

    TEAR DROPS

    Tear drops of the rain

As they slide down the window frames

    Glass having stains

From the tear drops of the rain

    Snowdrops of the snow

How far the wind does blow

    The snowdrops of the snow

    Shattering words across the world

These are the tears of the earth

    COLD OUTSIDE

    It's grey outside

    The clouds descend

    The weather's cold

    It could be the end

    It's cool on my skin

    It sends a chill

    Up into my bones

    With what little will

    It's cold outside

    But warm in my heart

    The two collide

    And leave no scars

    Because the cold's arrived

    And I have survived
