In my previous book Stardust and Star Jumps©2016 I fused some poetry toward the end of the book. Here, in 'The Touch of 10,000 words' I extend on that poetry to empower, heal, and inspire. The Touch of 10,000 words contains 114 short-medium length poems with a sensitive yet strong touch for a mindful and magical read. I write both free verse and rhyming poems, easy-to-digest poetry to enhance the mind, heart, and soul.

She has contributed her writing to some established UK and US online personal development sites and also writes for her own platform "The Motivation Angel". Christine writes from her own struggles and experiences. Her poems and reflections are honest, from the heart, healing, motivational, and empowering in nature.

      Introduction and Author’s Note:

      The Touch of 10,000 words© is a collection of free verse and rhyming musings and poetry on aspects of life, love, inner magic and beauty, wisdom, strength and the pursuit of dreams. In my previous book Stardust and Star Jumps©2016 I fused some prose and poetry toward the end of the book. Here, in ‘The Touch of 10,000 words’ I extend on those thoughts and the written word to empower, heal, motivate, and inspire through a journey of words.

      I hope that what you find in my thoughts and poetry inspires you to action, helps you to heal, illuminates your own beauty from within and supports you through the touch of 10,000 words. Your dreams need action; your dreams need you- strong and sufficient, and beautiful through your pain.

      The butterfly is a symbol of beauty through transformation and of evolution through darkness; releasing the old so that the new can take fold with wings to fly and elevate to new heights. Each butterfly is unique by design and carries a spectrum of colour in the transparency of their wings; vulnerable and beautiful like our hearts that beat so boldly and true. We each have the power within to change and metamorphosis, to renew more beautiful than ever before with courage and hope instilled in our hearts to win a better world for ourselves, transcending to the universe in its resource and energy. Love and pain are transformational energies; integrate and embrace them both in the grace of their polarity and the wisdom and omniscience of what they have to teach you. Let love in to shine its light upon each shadow, give it the strength to be both fortuitous and free.

      I dedicate these words to the person that acted as my catalyst for change and transformation, and to my daughter who shows me the wonder of each day through the stars in her eyes, the sparkle of her smile, the beauty of her mind, and the warmth of her heart; my Anam Cara ~ the best friend to my soul.
