    Disaster strikes the history banks of the United Forces Federation when a rogue time-traveler threatens to change the course of history and the outcome of the Civil War.

    Augustus McIntyre, history professor turned fugitive, begins a one-man journey through time on a path of greed and murder. Earlier, the Federation entrusted him with protecting the integrity of history—the history of the American Civil War, 1861-1865.

    McIntyre learns that a sizeable hoard of Confederate gold was entrusted to his ancestors but then captured by Union troops. McIntyre's lingering anger against Lincoln's Union sets him on a path to set things right, no matter the cost. Assuming the fictitious identity of characters on both sides, he glibly talks his way through the Virginia countryside and into the hearts of several unsuspecting women.

    Time Port Santa Fe travelers Tyler and Annie join the dangerous hunt for the most notorious time traveler ever known. The chase for the imposter McIntyre follows a trail of murder, mayhem, and deceit. Tyler and Annie step into a dangerous quest to neutralize the cunning traveler. Will they be able to restore history—or could they be thrust into another dimension of time?

    Retired hotel executive Larry Tyree has spent most of his life working and living in the great Southwest, from the Superstition Mountains of Arizona to the mystical Sangre de Cristo Mountains of Santa Fe, New Mexico. He has acquired a unique perspective of the many unexplained happenings in the Southwest, from historical to recent events.As a young man, he was a law enforcement officer who met and dealt with many unforgettable characters along the Apache Trail of Arizona and throughout the mysterious Superstitions.Later, his hotel career took him to Santa Fe, New Mexico. Once again, he became intrigued with local accounts of extraordinary and unexplained occurrences. After having interviewed hundreds of people over the years, he has acquired insight into the exciting possibilities of a perhaps not so imaginary world of science fiction.Tyree lives near Phoenix, Arizona, with his wife Mary.
