This is dedicated to my fans of Buriece. I have written a new chapter of the first novel to bring back beloved characters for a whole new adventure. Enjoy.

    Mess in The Darkness

Tåqör sat in a chair that Cörå had specifically made for the Ördük's whenever they came to visit. His massive hands gripped the arms of the chair. He was looking into Cörå's diamond blue eyes.

Ever since Viå's departure, Cörå had not been the same. A piece of her was gone. She was dead inside. She went about her daily routines but not as her usual joyous self. She was distant with a fake smile. She was in routine mode. Though she still upheld her duties fully. What brings you here on such a random occasion? Cörå asked, knowing full well the giant’s intentions.

Well since we're friends and family, I figured I would see how you are holding up? He said still locked onto her eyes.

I'm doing great as far as any normal person can, considering. She said, trying to fight back tears.

You know you don't have to be strong in front of me, right? The Ördük stated.

Time is all this is. Eventually I'll be back to myself, Tåqör. It's been only a year; she'll be two in another week. The goddess mentioned. She got up and looked out the window.

The darkness was depressing. Everyone seemed to be depressed these days. She looked out onto the city below, watching the people go about their lives.

Father told me to tell you, he loves you and misses you. They went out to sea this morning and should be back tonight or tomorrow. He said.

With the darkness it's become difficult to tell what part of the day it was, but he has been keeping track day by day, judging by his bed time.

A lot of things needed to be on strict schedules to keep track of the time. Such as routines with the training of new recruits and old ones. They had to count the seconds of each drill to give them a fair timeframe.

Every shop went into the same routine to keep up with all, Buriece, to keep business going. It was an ongoing effort that confused a lot of people but eventually they started to catch on.

I will make sure to visit him soon. I've been kind of overwhelmed with getting the world in order of the time frames and trying not to break down about Viå. she admitted, her voice breaking a little.

You should come out with us tonight, it'll be fun! He suggested.

Tempting but I think I'm going to call it an early night but thank you. She said.

Tåqör got up and walked over to his friend and gave her a comforting hug. She cried in his massive arms. They held each other for a moment. He pulled away with a tear-soaked shirt.

We're all here for you and always will be. Don't forget who your family is. He said and left her alone.

She turned back to the window, looking up at the dark haze, thinking about her baby girl.

    Shooting the Shit

No luck, getting her here, huh? Jåu asked, waving a hand at Böldår.

No. She's still in depression. It'll take time, you know. Tåqör said, as he finished his mug and wiped the foam from his mustache.

She hasn't said but a handful of words to me since. She is looking at this all wrong. Cåg said as he adjusted his hat.

    How's that? Tåqör asked.

Well, she sent Viå off to save the universe, to be a hero. She should be proud, not sulking. Cåg answered.

We all lost a piece of our hearts that day and we knew it was going to be hard. I mean we're all proud and sad as shit, but this is ridiculous. Jåu stated.

She carried Viå within herself and gave birth to her, so the connection is much stronger. Tåqör said, picking up another mug.

Well I guess we didn't squeeze her out of our vagina’s, but we were there every day. Jåu mentioned grabbing two mugs as Böldår set the tray down.

Any luck with Cörå? Böldår asked.

Shit no! Claims she is turning in early. Jåu answered, irritated.

That's too bad. I miss seeing her face around here, she really lit the place up. Böldår said smiling, in thought.

Oh shit! I think your wife overheard. She's going to stab out your other eye tonight! Jåu popped off.

Never gets old, even after all these years! Böldår said sarcastically.

Anyways, I'm sure she'll be back to herself soon. He said and left with his tray.

Time to get shit faced! Cåg said and held his cup up. The others cheered him. They all took a chug.

That night was like all other nights. They drank, they ate, they paid their harlot's. Something Jåu never really did but has since Viå's departure.

    Turmoil at Sea

Out at sea, Tråqöy was out on deck of his newest sea vessel, which he called the Sea Float two and named it after Viå, his granddaughter, not Tåm's mother.

When he had heard the news about Viå, he was devastated, and heart broken. He cursed the sole creator for the pain. After a long and stressful battle with his mind he had come to terms with the situation and had come to be proud that his granddaughter was chosen to save the universe.

The thing he wrestled with the most was that hopefully he would see her again before his passing. As healthy as he was, he was still old, and his health could take a turn at any time. His father lived a long time and he hoped to do the same but there was no telling of when Viå would return.

The fishing trip was successful this time around and had not been for a while and he figured it had to do with the darkness. So far, their storage was full of lobsters and crab and it was going to be a great market when they returned home.

Up out of the water, not far in the distance we're the beautiful sea women, who Cörå swears look just like her aunt's that we're slayed by her twin brother Kråg. They were very nice to gaze upon and made the Ördük's, very turned on during their long hauls out at Sea and once they returned their women would have no rest.

    They were
