Jason Mason and Ulysses Gump love the dump. The junk they find is a source of endless imagination and a home to their new friends, the garbage goblins, who help keep the trash extra smelly and rotten. But there’s a problem. Queen Cleansa and her seven cleanliness fairies have stolen the seven magical things that give the goblins their powers. One by one, Jason and Ulysses must enlist the goblins to help retrieve the things before the fairies can turn them into deodorant and before the men in suits can turn the now sweet-smelling dump into a luxurious gated community.
In this episode, Jason and Ulysses join forces with Stench, the envious goblin, to rescue his magical wadded-up nose wipe.

T.R. Asch has had a very exciting life. He was born 400 years ago in a cave in Norway and studied Goblinology at the University of Oslo. In the 18th century, he invented children’s literature. Unfortunately a woman named Mother Goose stole the book and got the credit. Then he came to America where he fought in the Revolution, serving under George Washington as a horse. Some years later, he discovered the town of Mud Corners and began to chronicle the adventures of Jason Mason and Ulysses Gump. He still lives there today, in a hollow tree not far from the dump. “It’s crowded but cozy,” he says. “And the rent’s low.” Mr. Asch also writes YA novels, picture books, chapter books, and plays under the name Douglas Rees.
