About this ebook
A strange scientist creates an intelligent life form in a laboratory, but the scientist is not who he masquerades as, and his life form is not benign.
While being deceived, another scientist is hired to collaborate, but soon discovers the deception and becomes an adversary, but is later accused of being an aid.
With time running out, the people of Earth fight an impossible battle for existence.
Marsell Morris
Marsell was born in Detroit Michigan in the year of... well, a good while ago. After graduating from Cass Technical High School, Marsell went to work for the Chrysler Corporation as a conveyor loader. Shortly after beginning his employment with Chrysler, he married, and fathered three children. Thirty-one years later, and after having gained the position of production supervisor, he retired at fifty. After retiring, he began playing golf everyday and all day. Having lowered his handicap to near scratch, and winning a tournament at even par, and behind a debilitating injury, he was unable to continue playing. He had a lot of free time on his hands, whereupon, he took up writing as a hobby and time killer and discovered he had talent for spinning a yarn. After pounding out eleven urban fictions, covering everything from drug use, prostitution, gang crime, murder, and romance/erotica, and having always been a science fiction fan from his teenage years, he thought he’d try his hand at writing a Sci-Fi tail, which culminated in his first work “Alien Plot - First Contact” now retitled "Alien Offensive - Nanobot Storm" and its four sequels, and which, at one time before he ran into problems with its publisher, was considered good fodder for production as a movie, not because he is such a great writer, but because of its unique, previously unexplored, plot.He still lives in Detroit, and being a compulsive writer, he spends most of his time wearing out his fourth keyboard replacement, while pursuing what he loves doing — writing more tails with unique story lines.

Monsters Do Exist
Prologue
"I'm being blamed, but it's not my fault. I tried to stop him. I even went to the authorities, and they said I was crazy, and to not bother them with my ridiculous accusations, anymore. So, how can it be my fault?
Please read my story and let's see if you agree with me, or not, that I did all I could to stop him. To be honest with you, I don't think I could have stopped him even if tried to kill him.
But, I warn you, however you decide, it doesn't matter. The monster he created must be stopped before it destroys the world. And believe me, it can do that. As a matter of fact it might be too late, already.
I'm sure that at some time in your past, maybe, if you are a reader, for pleasure, or maybe, for a book report while still in school, you must have read Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, right?
I, also, know how, particularly, as a youthful reader, you might remember how terrifying the story must have seemed. Sure, maybe as a burgeoning reader, you probably didn't realize the significance of Shelley's masterpiece, but it did scare you, didn't it?
Yeah, you knew the story wasn't real, and couldn't possibly happen, but what if it could and did?
Come on,
you say, infusing life into dead and rotting flesh can't happen,
you insist, and you would probably be right, but what if some genius scientist found a way to bring to life something way more sinister — bring to life an intelligent lifeform that is nearly indestructible, and which could threaten all life anywhere in the world? Be afraid, my friend — it happened.
Chapter 1
Let me introduce myself. My name is Jason, Palsy, and I'm a Synthetic Lifeform Biologist, a Microbiologist, and a Extremifile Biologist, who worked with NASA and its Mars Terraforming and Life Infusion program until I was dumped when the Mars exploration program was ended when government money became minimal after a recent recession.
Then, not productively employed, I began accepting lecture jobs with any University that would temporarily hire me. Nothing that great, but it kept a roof over my head and one solid meal a day in my stomach.
So, you can imagine how happy I was when this fellow appeared one day after a lecture on extremophile life forms I had given, and offered, on behalf of another scientist, to hire me with the promise of exorbitant pay to work with this other scientist. He didn't mention the name of the scientist, but did say he dabbled in biology much like myself.
I thought it strange this fellow wanted me, because of my field of expertise, and explained to him the rare and off beat field of biology I practiced.
He told me I was exactly the type of biologist the other scientist sought. He said that he had researched me and knew of my limited successes in my field and that I was immediately hired if I should accept. He said the other scientist needed an expert to collaborate with.
He said that biologist of my ilk were extremely rare, and the few other scientist working in my field didn't have my experience, so, I was a logical choice. He said he couldn't reveal the name of the scientist or what he was working on because his project was top secrete, but all my questions would be answered once I was on location in the other scientist's lab.
Hum, I thought, top secret? This could be interesting.
So, even though I had misgivings about taking a job with so little information about the job, I accepted. That's when something else strange happened.
I was given a check for an exorbitant month's salary in advance, and a one way plane ticket to Romania,
