Summary

Gunnar had survived his solitary existence for so long, he no longer could see a path to what he would do without his military career.  When one of his buddies goes down during a mission, Gunnar will have to follow through on a promise he made to spend a holiday season with the guy's extended family and friends. Having to feign holiday cheer seemed like the least he could do for the sacrifices the family had made to the great good, unfortunately one best friend, a barrel of toddlers and more mistletoe than he had ever hoped to fall victim to is trying every nerve he has, making him want to run back into battle.

Addilyn had loved Killian like the brother she never had, and when he goes down somewhere overseas just before the holiday season she is left picking up the pieces. Killian's sister Quinn is her best friend, business partner and all-around cohort in crime since they were young, and she is determined to be there for her in this dark time. What she hadn't bargained on was the road weary, larger than life soldiers Killian was sending home to them as his last wish they spend Christmas together.
