    Annie Lena Day is an author, a teacher, and a narrator. She worked as a teacher in East Greenwich, Rhode Island for many years.  She also worked as a voice over talent -- voicing ads and commericials.  All of her books are educational and are appropriate for children and their families.  When not writing, Annie is very busy as a wife, mom, and grandma.  As you can probably guess, she spends lot of time in nature.  She loves to grow things and watch animals. Annie Lena Day inherited her love of reading and nature from her Nana, another Annie Lena, who lived from 1890 to 1977.
