About this ebook

The adventures of Princess Mikaila and Prince Pete is a rare treasury of stories for young children that weave age-appropriate financial basics into fun, engaging, fairy tales that will actually help make their dreams come true!
"I am impressed, indeed amazed, by the standard of financial knowledge available to children in "The Adventures of Princess Mikaila and Prince Pete". Each story incorporates financial topics in a way that is so enjoyable and fascinating that children will hang onto every word without even realizing they're learning something! Mark demonstrates his natural ability to communicate smart financial concepts to people of all ages, especially children. This book is so bright and informative, I would strongly encourage schools and parents to add it to their "must have" list of reading and learning materials. I believe this book will not only improve the standards of financial knowledge for the next generation but also enhance their enjoyment of it".

Once upon a time, there lived a pair of royal twins: Princess Mikaila and Prince Pete. The Prince and Princess were adventurous young kids who loved exploring and figuring stuff out. They lived in a fantastic castle on the edge of a shimmering blue lake that sparkled in the sunlight. At the foot of the castle lay the village of Jubilant where the Prince and Princess’ friends lived. Surrounding Jubilant was the fresh green Emerald Forest that went on as far as the eye could see, all the way to the mountains of Mandor.

It was a glorious day in the Kingdom. The Royal Family was just finishing up a scrumpdillyicious breakfast as Princess Mikaila tried to catch a drop of maple syrup on her tongue, which was somehow dangling off the end of her nose.

So children, are you ready for our trip to the market? Queen Mommy asked.

So ready! replied the royal twins together.

The market is such a fun and colourful place, beamed Princess Mikaila.

Yes, and today you get to practice using money to buy things, said Queen Mommy.

Neither Prince Pete nor Princess Mikaila had much experience with money, so Queen Mommy thought it would be a good idea to take a walk through the market with them to help them understand the value of money and what they could buy with it.

The village square was full of merchants gathered there
