About this ebook

Intimidating and living by a strong code of ethics, Table's integrity is unwavering, as is his ironclad will when it comes to safeguarding those he cares about.  He's the man to guard your back, shelter you in time of need, and be the shield.

Just don't ever lie to him.

Table's life is turned upside down when he unexpectedly discovers he's a dad. Trying to navigate his life as a single father to a baby girl, he takes a break from his Dragon Runners MC brothers, moving to the family farm.

When Table meets nomadic Lori, who trades work on the farm for rent, he's as intrigued as he is wary. She's a woman who wears her attitude like armor. And despite her fierce independence, Table can see the fear dancing in the shadows of her eyes. It's enough to make him look that little bit closer.

With the support of his MC brothers, Table not only is reminded that family is more than blood, but that some women are just worth fighting for.

Thanks to the publisher for an ARC to read and give my honest opinion. Lori is running from something...nothing really came out until the end of the book but she's evidently on the run with her taking cash for hire jobs. She needs a place to stay for a few months so she can make some money since buying a van depleted her stash. She finds a room over a garage in trade for some work done around a farm and she takes it. She then meets a hunk named Table who is in a biker MC, he's part owner of where she stays and Lori also helps care for his infant daughter. What did I like? The book held its own as we read through almost the whole thing before the truth comes out. Table and Lori do a back and forth as trust seems to be an issue for Lori. The chemistry is there it's just not the main story. Would I buy this book? No, this is a fence book for me. I didn't hate it and I didn't love it. The story of Lori was pretty awful, domestic abuse, and the neat way it tied up. I would have done one reason or the other, not both....just seemed convenient. Thoughts for the author? I would have liked more of the biker gang, we all worked so hard to get Lori's story that the biker gang was a mystery. This is my first read by this author so I have none of the background of the rest of the MC. Just felt like if this was an MC story, there part seemed left out.

This was a great book. Lori and Table's romance was sweet, something I was not really expecting about a MC book. The book takes you through sad, happy and scary moments. I would recommend this book. I received an ARC copy for an honest review.

I really enjoyed this book and I have to say that Table has become my favorite of the bunch, he was so sweet and protective and a fabulous father and friend. Lori's story was sad but I respected how she got out of the situation that she was in. Her first reaction to Table was not cool but she apologized understanding that she screwed up and I had to give it to her, from what she had went thru she was scared and understandably so. I loved reading of the past characters and what they were doing and their growth. Loved Table and Lori's relationship and how they grew into it..Grab a copy and Enjoy! I can't wait for the next one, really hope this wasn't it.Rcvd an ARC at no cost to author..Voluntarily leaving my own opinions and views.

This was an experience I have to say. Thank you so much to the author and publisher for giving me this ARC in exchange for an unbiased review, because honestly this book is a treasure. I have not read any of the other Dragon MC books but you bet I will now. Lori and Table’s relationship was really amazing and I’m so thankful and happy with how ML Nystrom made sure consent was a priority for both parties and how they clearly laid out consent. It’s something rare to see in MC stories and a lot of books these days, and I was kind of choked up when I read how explicitly clear the characters wanted the consent to be and if there wasn’t consent the (good) characters would listen. Thank you, Ml Nystrom, for showing that you can have a tough, hard as nails and sexy male who also respects women — and then PROVES it. It’s so common for authors to just write that their characters respect women, but their actions show otherwise, yours’ didn’t. Thank you. You’re setting a precedent and an excellent example that should be followed by all. Also I don’t want to knock other authors and books because there are great ones out there, but I am just blown away right now (which is a good thing lol). I give this book all the stars and more.
