About this ebook

"250 days of Epigrammatic Thoughts" is a collection of LinkedIn daily wisdom postings that has grown in popularity since the beginning of 2018. It all started as words of wisdom to encourage and motivate professionals in their career and personal lives. Amazingly, the style of writing and inspiring messages as drawn more than 28,000 followers in LinkedIn with regular personal messages of appreciation. Although LinkedIn is able to track back all the older posts, the high number of posts is going to be hard to recall in the near future. Hence, the author decided to compile all his posts and extract the more popular ones into a book and re-enhance with more meaningful pictures.

Due to limited words permitted in LinkedIn posts, the author has embraced a modernised method of epigrammatic writing style that is brief and yet interesting and amusing, with a twist of wittiness. The word epigram is derived from the Greek: ἐπίγραμμα epigramma "inscription" from ἐπιγράφειν epigraphein "to write on, to inscribe", and the literary device has been employed for over two millennia.

A diverse range of topics, the book shares mainly on wisdom messages in career and life but also cover a small extent of humour, health, family, spiritual and many more. It is because of the simplicity in the delivery of the messages that make it so interestingly to read and the common remarks found in the posts are "inspiring", "thought provoking" and "encouraging".

Three of the readers' recommendations

When it comes to great content such as insights and wisdom in LinkedIn, one of my favourite daily posts is from Glenn. Although I know Glenn for less than a year, he consistently put up quality and thought provoking content, which I appreciate and learnt from it. He is also very generous and shared his writing techniques to help his friends to write better content in LinkedIn which help them to gain credibility and exposure. I like his insights and humour in his articles. One of the most memorable posting that really inspires and stuck in my mind was about how he has transformed and reinvent himself with various careers, keep learning and never give up. He has been a DJ, a chef, a photographer and now a consultant with a great company. A truly inspiring person where his stories and content can be a source of motivation and inspiration to all of us.

Glenn has always got a heart to share his expertise and his experiences and this can be seen clearly through his writings on LinkedIn. He believes strongly in personal branding through writing rich content that will uplift and reach out to the LinkedIn community. Not only does he possess a great sense of humour, he is also a man who has a great depth of life experiences, which he shares his faith freely with everyone. Given Glenn's wide array of interests and wisdom, I believe you will enjoy these excerpts which he has kindly compiled for all of us to learn and indulge in. Happy reading!
