Grandchildren
Preface
Health, lveliness, happiness, contentment, kindness and compassion-like Human qualities have been eroded from the life of modern man and have been substituted by ego, eccentricity, jealousy, anger, revenge, crime, and luxury which result into murders, pollution, and nuclear weapons ensuring the annihilation of life from the mother earth.
Only contro, balance, hope and faith can restore semblance and only sweetness, light, pleasure and fragrance can guarantee continuity of life on the earth.
That is the reason that moral teaching and spirituality are the most needed Objects’. Out of lakh of moral stories, here are only 30 for all human beings irrespective of caste, creed, sex and age to open the eyes and widen the door of selfish mind. The Tortoise and the Swans
Once the king of tortoise was invited to the wedding of God Jupitor. But the tortoise king was very lazy and he liked to stay at home. So, he did not attend the marriage. God Jupiter was very angry and he cursed the tortoise king to carry his home forever. From then on the tortoises carry their home wherever they go.
Once there was a tortoise in a big pond. Many swans also lived in the pond. The tortoise and the swans were good friends. The tortoise liked the flight of the swans. He wished to go up in the air and see the world, the pond and the trees around it from above. But he had no way out.
