    When Jack joins army, he is disgusted by the depths to which people will sink while in the trenches. As he rises through the ranks, he makes the decision to exact change in the world when the war is over.

    David has inherited his father's ideals, but will he remember them when he leaves to fight in the war in Viet Nam?  Will his stint in the army change him for the better?

    David's children, Evelyn and Mark, will probably never serve in war. Will they emerge with the same ideals as their father and grandfather?

    From the educational institutions and boardrooms of the United States to the battlefields in World War II France and Germany, the Viet Nam war, and beyond, The Judas Kiss draws attention to the disparity in wealth of American society, and illustrates how, without the notion of sacrifice for the greater good, absolute power can corrupt, absolutely.

    Jon Zimmer graduated from Cal State Northridge, California with a degree in business. He started his career in business, ultimately managing several divisions of two large corporations. He was also involved in the start-up of two businesses, one of which he became the owner. He took up writing as a hobby, creating several short stories during his business career. It was then that he knew that writing was for him. However, he stayed in business, took an early retirement, and finally began his chosen career as a writer. He has always been an avid reader, and a political activist. He has had three other novels published in the past several years: The Trinity Pact, a political fantasy, The Cozy Place, (Romance/Mystery), and Generations – Birth of an American Aristocracy (Historical Fiction).
