Tears
She said I wanna cry
...I said, that’s fine, all I would do is kiss the tears, to taste your pain...to know it...to become one with it...to transform its poisonous effect that destroys to a medicinal one that heals...to isolate it...then...completely erase it. If they are tears of sorrow I’ll seek out their source and block it forever. If they are tears of joy, I’ll turn the faucet on full blast and break the knob...
So why does she cry? Is it because his eyes don’t judge, they understand? Is it because she’s spent so many nights praying for true love and he embodies a prayer answered and a dream fulfilled? Is it because she could sense the moment was temporary and she wanted it to last forever? Did she curse time and space? Were they tears of joy? Were they tears of sorrow? Were they a salty mixture of both? Was/is she happy or was/is she sad? Is my presence bittersweet? Does it remind of the heights of love’s bliss but also the depths of its pain? Is it me or what I represent? Does she love me or is there a void there that any man’s attention would fill at this moment?
Why does she cry? Are the tears for her
