Across the Dusty Road

About this ebook
Across The Dusty Road is an old expression of new problems. We can feel the reverberations of Keats and Frost in so many of poems. Even then, the originality of thought and diction is unmistakable.
HAVI SHAH
Basit Ali Havi has been writing in both English and Urdu. A great part of his work still remains unpulished. He is a poet, novelist, short story writer and a motivational author.

Another Holiday Spent
IN SAD REGRETFUL THOUGHTS on my past life,
How thoughtlessly those glorious youthful days,
I spent! How recklessly, in different ways,
How careless and indifferent to my wife,
I have been! How fruitless and how rife
My forceful struggles, efforts and waylays
Have been! How non productively always
I
