About this ebook
I am discovering the love that I have for myself. I am finding comfort in being alone. I can take all that time to better myself and my craft. Both entities I have mentioned are improving tremendously. I have made a lot of mistakes, yes. I have said a lot of things that I had no business saying, yes. Through those errors is where the true growth comes in. I'm glad that I was singled out, or not paid any attention to. It gave me all the motivation that I needed. Thank you.

Abandonado - Khali Raymond
The beauty of being broken
my drudgery is profound, my face has no frown
delivering it downtown with this one, hold on
all the self-hate i kept bottled in at seventeen years old
odium against myself
spewing it in every book i’ve written
speaking in acerbic linguistics
looking back on it now, i laugh it off
life has showed me around and back too many times
memorized every path and plain
don’t want to take any shortcuts cuz’
i already know how to get there by now
ready to set the world on fire, my days of living in poverty is numbered
amid times that are troubling the souls of men
my insecurities no longer put me on the defensive
i’ve come to embrace the discomforts of everyday
no matter the situation at hand
i have found beauty in being broken
accepting i’m not perfection may be the most perfect thing ever
like the utopian society we might not ever have least not in this lifetime
my anxieties have been made to combust, disdain is now at bay
not one to engage in
