The hitman is back in action, this time in Chicago where a femme fatale hires him to help her with a little boyfriend trouble.  Her lover has mob connections, so this could get ugly. Note that this story is rated R for sex and violence.  It first appeared in Noirotica 2: Pulp Friction.  It also appears in Quick Shots and The Hitman Stories (an omnibus edition of all 6 hitman stories).

A gangbanger tries to cash a check, not realizing the man behind the counter has a side gig where he gets paid to kill people.  Sometimes, threats can lead to freebies.     Gary Jonas is the author of the Jonathan Shade fantasy series, the novel One Way Ticket to Midnight, the story collection Quick Shots, and the novella Night Marshal: A Tale of the Undead West, the first in a new vampire western series that will be penned by various authors.
