Byron Preiss

Byron Preiss is the author of THE ULTIMATE DRAGON and THE WHITE HOUSE MOUSE. Michael Reeves is also a successful science fiction writer. The late Byron Preiss had been active in the design and development of software since the early 1980s. In 1984 Preiss produced FEHRENHEIT 451 based on the novel by Ray Bradbury. His interactive adventure game, DRAGONWORLD, was voted Best Adventure Game of the Year (1985). He developed a line of interactive children’s classics for Spinnaker Software. Mr. Preiss had also been involved in audio and video software. His project, THE WORDS OF GANDHI, won the Grammy Award for Best Spoken World Recording. He was co-producer of the acclaimed Bank Street Ready-to-Read videos.
