When a disgruntled soul in hell begins praying to God for relief from this tormenting heat, God responds with a snow day. Unfortunately the only being in hell that is not happy about the unforeseen weather change is the devil, and what he does to stop it, is a true miracle!

    This short story is a creative play on the phrase, and is intended to bring a smile to your face.

Her hope is to teach young readers more interesting tidbits about various turtle species through the first person perspective of a tortoise.During the week, she runs her own businesses (plural); a website and graphic design company, and a publishing house where she assists new authors in making their dreams come to reality.Over the weekends, you can usually find her setup at a market day, craft show, church bizarre or any place that will let her setup a table to promote and sell her books, throughout the Texas Hill Country.She also thoroughly enjoys visiting schools and libraries, reading to young children and inspiring 3rd through 5th graders into using their imaginations to embellish their creative writing skills.

      The Day Hell Froze Over

      It was impossible – or so he thought. The day the devil never thought would happen.

      Preface: When hell freezes over is a phrase people tend to use to portray the fact that something will NEVER happen. Like, if two girls are talking and one asks the other if she’d consider going out with a particular (overly disliked) boy. The other girls’ response may be When hell freezes over because she would only ever consider going out with him if something that absolutely could not ever happen, happens.

      Anyways, the idea for this story came to me care of that rather visual phrase, and the following is what my occasionally spooky mind tends to think of when I’m idle.
