    Gloria A. Ward, Ph.D. is a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Born and raised in West Virginia, she moved to Washington, D.C. after graduating high school. Gloria has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Public Accounting from Benjamin Franklin University, a Master of Science Degree in Higher Education from Kaplan University, A Master of Theology in Christian Counseling as well as a Doctorate Degree in Christian Counseling from the Potter’s House Seminary and Bible College. Gloria is currently working on a Master of Science degree in Accounting. Gloria provides accounting and consulting services to corporations. She and her husband of 40 years, David, are reaping the benefits of a beautiful and joyous marriage. They have three children, two grandchildren and two great grandchildren. They reside in Jacksonville, North Carolina.

      Introduction

      Death comes to us in many ways. It can happen suddenly, or we can get advanced notice. However, it comes, saying goodbye to family, friends, and possessions accumulated throughout the years is not easy.

      We were not born into this world to stay forever. If you believe God’s Word, you will accept that this world will be destroyed. We are only pilgrims passing through to our eternal homes. We are only allowed a specific number of steps before we enter eternity. The question for everyone is, Are you ready to die?

      The Lord gave me the title of this book in 1999 along with Eve, Get in Your Place, Adam, Take Your Position, and Children Are Next in Line. It is now 2019. It’s all about His timing?

      I am 71 years old and beginning to think more about eternity. I lost my mother six years ago. My husband lost both his brother and mother in 2018. Since they have gone on, it makes me wonder more about life on the other side of the grave.

      Are you Ready to Die? is filled with inspirational poems to help us look in the face of death without fear. It also offers special insight into life after death. Life does not end when we die. When we close our eyes in death, we open them in eternity. What you do on this side of the grave will determine where you spend eternity on the other side. Rest assured, you will spend eternity
