About this ebook
ADMIT IT OR NOT, WE'RE ALL IN A QUEST
for success and happiness at its best,
We've been so programmed by Nature for it,
to say no is being a hypocrite.
WHAT A PITY IF LIFE BE NOT WELL LIVED,
deprived of joy that for man God had willed.
What a pity, too, if joy is half-baked,
smiling so wide, deep inside it is fake.
JOY AND SUCCESS ARE ESSENCE OF LIVING—
life is no life without them you having.
Don't you dare settle for anything less,
anything less is but same a distress.
OH, MY HUMBLE QUOTES OF INSPIRATION,
they are for all whatever life's station.
May you enjoy every word there in all—
may they lift your heart, liberate your soul!
I AM RODOLFO MARTIN VITANGCOL,
all thoughts herein penned under my control,
of a human race by God's selection,
to uplift people's soul my sworn mission.
Amen.

PREFACE
ADMIT IT OR NOT, WE’RE ALL IN A QUEST
for success and happiness at its best,
We’ve been so programmed by Nature for it,
to say no is being a hypocrite.
––––––––
WHAT A PITY IF LIFE BE NOT WELL LIVED,
deprived of joy that for man God had willed.
What a pity, too, if joy is half-baked,
smiling so wide, deep inside it is fake.
––––––––
JOY AND SUCCESS ARE ESSENCE OF LIVING—
life is no life without them you having.
Don’t you dare settle for anything less,
anything less is but same a distress.

OH, MY HUMBLE QUOTES OF INSPIRATION,
they are for all whatever life’s station.
May you enjoy every word there in all—
may they lift your heart, liberate your soul!

I AM RODOLFO MARTIN VITANGCOL,
all thoughts herein penned under my control,
of a human race by God’s selection,
to uplift people’s soul my sworn mission.
JANUARY
January 1
The brain is just an action-processor;
the attitude is the brain’s dictator.
If the attitude dictates I am strong,
the brain works to show attitude’s not wrong.
––––––––
January 2
If you assume it is hard, you won’t try;
if you assume it’s easy, you will try.
If you assume it is far, you won’t go;
if you assume it is near, you will go.
––––––––
We act according to our assumptions:
"Wrong assumption shall lead to wrong action;
right assumption shall lead to right action."
Before you act, check first your assumption.
––––––––
January 3
Don’t regret your seemingly wasted years,
they’re your best fuel for tomorrow’s cheers.
Don’t regret any of your past mistakes,
they’re your best yardstick for a life remake.
––––––––
January 4
If you have all the money, you are free;
do glorify it, you’re in slavery.
If you have a car and a home, you’re free;
get attached to them, you’re in custody.
––––––––
If you have a stable job, you are free;
just rely on it, you’re in drudgery.
If you have caring parents, you are free;
just lean on them, you’re in captivity.
––––––––
January 5
In the world, you may be the richest man,
or you may be the most popular man,
or you may be the most powerful man,
but without character you’re not a man.
––––––––
January 6
Where’s whole sense of forgive but not forget
—
claiming things are alright, though pain’s there yet?
Forgiving is fake if you can’t forget:
True forgiving heals scars, no heartaches let.
––––––––
If you want to forget, try this one way:
Forgive yourself first for letting pain stay.
This you’ll discover, once you have done that:
Your forgiving comes with lightest of heart.
––––––––
January 7
Excuses, excuses, and excuses!
That is all you’ve trained yourself to express.
Why not try: I can, I can, and I can!
For once, let yourself take a new command.
––––––––
January 8
When fight than cry, you’re master of yourself;
but when cry than fight, you’re slave of yourself.
When work than laze, you’re master of yourself;
but when laze than work, you’re slave of yourself.
––––––––
It takes strength of will to do what ought be,
and lack of will to do what ought not be.
Master of themselves, strength of will they gave;
weak in soul, some just chose to be a slave.
––––––––
January 9
The world is made for fighters, not criers;
doers, not dreamers; toilers, not slackers.
It’s made for all the smart and the mighty,
regardless if they’re wicked or saintly.
––––––––
January 10
Wed the rich old man? Or the poor young man?
Your brain picks the first; heart, the second one.
The brain offers security safeness,
The heart offers relational joyness.
––––––––
For total happiness to be attained,
either brain bows to heart, or heart to brain.
For as long as brain and heart remain split,
either way you choose, joy is incomplete.
––––––––
January 11
Self-analysis makes a man wiser,
better than all world’s knowledge can offer.
For a person who does not look within
is like a thief who thinks he’s free from sin.
––––––––
January 12
When your friends act like something is amiss,
analyse if there’s something you’ve been remiss.
When your family has been good to you,
analyse so you may them continue.
––––––––
For each failure, analyse why the fail;
aim’s not to blame, but to adjust your sail.
For each success, analyse why the hit,
aim’s not to gloat, but to pave a repeat.
––––––––
January 13
No great dreams been moved without an action.
No great works been done without a passion.
No great wars been won without a power.
No great love been shown without a giver.
––––––––
January 14
Our living is like entering a maze:
Lifetime choices of paths, you will be crazed.
Each choice we make is always a gamble:
Could lead to the hoped for or not at all.
––––––––
If we seemed stuck, no crying or blaming;
just keep on moving, just keep on trying.
In the end, it’s not a skill
