    Heather set the book of poetry down. She had been edging her way along the book shelves of the library every night after work, reading first one book of poetry and then the next. Her goal was to read every single one of them and then drive across town in Bulleton and use her library card in their library and begin on their shelves. She heard it was smaller, but it was an older town, so more likely to have classic poetry.

    Modern libraries were more filled with lyrics from songs for poetry or from movie melodies. Not that she didn’t like them. But she liked authors who put in their time; paid their dues to get their works done.
