About this ebook
EPILOGUE
South Africa is a melting pot
Of unique races, landscapes,
Flora and fauna,
Veritable living tapestry captured by Mzanzi Magic,
Highlighting infinite cultural and touristic wealth
Through the rhythm of poetry,
In a new genre of creative writing,
Blending the natural and cultural
With the vowels and consonants of poetic aesthetics,
To give birth to complex
But at the same time captivating re-presentation
Of culture and nature,
Meant to project other facets of SA
Beyond the jungle of so much taunted
Crimes and human tragedy,
Since unfortunately these other sides of the story,
Those of exquisite timeless beauty
For uplifting mind, senses, and soul
To dimensions of faith in highest possibilities
Are hardly mentioned,
And even though the dark side is existent
Why not shift focus
To the scope of hope,
To the truly spectacularly beautiful aspects
Of this unique land, peoples, and nation
So that we could all start becoming aware
Of the positives
And concentrate too on them
And dare to dissolve the negatives
Or at least not become obsessed with them,
By seeking to possess the best
Dropping the beast
So that all can feast
On the infinitely rich menu
Of Mzanzi Touristic Magic!!!

Green Poetry of Mzanzi Touristic Magic - Ilongo Fritz Ngale
National Symbols of South Africa
Coat of Arms
From birth unity has been primordial
Coined as ‘From unity, strength’
Or Ex unitate vires
To the present ‘!ke e: ǀxarra ǁke’
‘Unity in diversity,’
Core essence of Mzanzi,
Blessed with so many people
Of diverse hues
Not unlike the rainbow,
Reflected below as a nation
Seeking to fashion a common destiny,
Forged from the flames ebony black to sunburnt pink
And all in-between,
Coat of many colours
Of unity in diversity.
Like in an alchemical forge
There is a ceaseless effort to distil the Word
Through words from eleven official languages,
Afrikaans, English, Ndebele, Northern Sotho, Sotho,
Swazi, Tswana, Tsonga, Venda, Xhosa, and Zulu,
Third in world in terms of number of languages
After Bolivia and India,
Without forgetting the peripheral tones from
Fanagalo, Khoe, Lobedu, Nama, Northern Ndebele, Phuthi,
Portuguese, German, Greek, Tamil, Hindi,
Gujarati, Urdu, Telugu, and French,
All in a bid to make sense
In the eternal project of crystalizing the essence
Of unity in diversity.
Here monotony is banned
Even exiled from the land,
Which seeks to avoid being bland
Planning to combine diversity
Through the wide comb of tolerance
Letting all be
For the leaven to become stronger
Even in the storms of the necessary ferment,
Necessary rite of passage
In the voyage to the stage
Of unity in diversity.
Initially the pitches and tones are off-key
But no initiation to greatness
Gets the key at the beginning,
For the pilgrims must all pray and work
No matter how grim things might look,
But be sure they will cool down before dawn
When all will grin
From heart to heart
And mind to mind,
Reminding one another of the long trek to freedom,
Away from the doom
Of mutual implosion-explosion,
For the golden dawn was beckoning
Sure beacon of hope
Calling on tired feet
To perform the feat
That will lead to the feast
Of unity in diversity.
The ears are of wheat
Symbol of generation and of regeneration
Of the latent potentials,
Seeds of destiny
Meant to empower self and all
Through the tusks of wisdom,
Strength, moderation and eternity,
Shielded by authentic identity
Rampart repelling inner and external invasion,
Especially as each person becomes individualized
To function effectively in community
Collective humanity,
That has laid down the spear and knobkerrie
To live in peace
Seal of unity in diversity.
From the alchemical crucible of oneness
Individual and collective substance and energy
Are transmuted in the creative flames of unconditional love,
From which distillation
Arise the wings of transcendence
Captured in the secretary
Not unlike the mythical phoenix
Arising from the ashes of self-sacrificing love,
Cushioned by the delicate arms of rising beauty
Protea, fruit of union of heaven and earth
From which sacred union
Is projected the golden sun of victory
Crown of the cosmic destiny
Of unity in diversity.

The Rainbow Flag
Unique in its colouring
Only flag to incorporate six colours,
Making it special
Beyond all others,
Rallying fort of the peoples
Around the V form
Of flag-pole green,
Pointing to convergence
Of all forces and energies
In the direction
Of unity in diversity,
Marching to eternity,
Through infinite opportunities
From infinity of potentialities
From the rainbow flag.
The whole country
Is a natural beauty,
Far from artificial make-up duty
Overflowing with lush green pastures,
Infinite sea of land features,
Cool to the eye
Stimulating to the ear
With countless caressing
