About this ebook

What is the Grey Kingdom?

Two Kingdoms are at work in the world today, the Kingdom of Light and the Kingdom of Darkness

Jesus said He is the only way to the Father (John 14:6-7). By saving us from our sins through Jesus Christ, God rescues us from the dominion of the Kingdom of Darkness and brings us into His Kingdom of Light (Colossians 1:12-14). Man has found a shortcut to salvation by creating a Grey Kingdom where many ways lead to heaven. The world has created the Grey Kingdom where people can be masters of their own destiny, minus God.

Demystifying the Grey Kingdom will help you understand how each kingdom manifests in the physical world. It shows you how to know the source of supernatural acts and the spiritual implication of mixing Christianity and alternative spiritual practices. The book also emphasizes that the Kingdom of God is unmatched by the Kingdom of Darkness. It shows how the devil counterfeits the things of God to keep people in bondage.

Jesus is the name by which men receive salvation (Acts 4:10-12), and if we believe anything else, we open ourselves up to deception. God has given us His Word to enlighten us so we may know the truth.

Demystifying The Grey Kingdom - Josephine Ngatia

    A TALE OF TWO KINGDOMS

I am writing this book because my heart breaks every time someone says they not born again (through Jesus Christ) but are spiritual. In the grand scheme of spiritual things, it means nothing, other than you separate yourself from God forever. You either belong to Jesus or you do not. There is no middle ground. If you say you are spiritual, I want to ask you, of what spirit are you? Spiritual, means of a spirit. If you are not born again, you are not of the Spirit of God. Those who are born again have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. Many who do away with salvation claim to be spiritual.

Two kingdoms are at work spiritually, the Kingdom of Light and the Kingdom of Darkness. The Kingdom of Light is God’s Kingdom and the Kingdom of Darkness is the devil’s. Man has found a way around salvation by creating a Grey Kingdom where many ways lead to heaven. This kingdom is an illusion and has many dwellers who claim salvation has many routes. Jesus is the only source of our salvation (Acts 4:11-12). Through salvation, God rescues us from the dominion of the Kingdom of Darkness and brings us into the Kingdom of Light (Colossians 1:12-14). In Jesus we have everlasting life and will live with God in heaven forever.

At salvation, we cross over from one kingdom to the other. There is no stopover in the middle. In John 5:24, Jesus tells us we cross over from death to life. This tells us that salvation is a weighty matter. It is not merely going to church or growing up in a Christian home. It is a decision we make to follow Jesus, who forgives our sins. We were born into sin because of Adam’s sin in the Garden of Eden. Jesus came as God’s redemption plan from this sin. For those who accept Jesus, they have eternal life. They cross over from death to life. The sinful nature we were born into leads to eternal death. But salvation leads to eternal life.

The world has created a Grey Kingdom where people can be masters of their own destiny, minus God. Those in the Grey Kingdom believe good is enough to get you to heaven. Many even quote the story of the Apostle Paul saying he was an evil man who changed and became good. This is to support their neutral status of not being saved or not belonging to the devil. Paul changed because he had an encounter with Jesus (Acts 9:4-5). You don’t have to be a devil worshiper to belong to the Kingdom of Darkness. When you consider the eternal implication of not being saved, then you will understand how one can belong to the Kingdom of Darkness. The fate of this kingdom is that one of everyone who does not accept the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ.

Being spiritual has no eternal significance. The world has fooled people into thinking they can master their own destiny without the help of God or Jesus. In fact, we have reduced Jesus to a mere historical figure. That way He has no power to save anyone. This is a lie. How do you expect to spend eternity in heaven with God if you separated yourself from Him on earth? Heaven is real. God is real. Eternal life is real.

Many imagine salvation is unnecessary. Not when they have the options of New Age teachings and denominations that guarantee heaven through religious practices. They have settled for good works to please the Almighty. Heaven is God’s abode, and He has told us how to get there. No human being can come up with alternative ways to heaven. Jesus is the only Way (Acts 4:10-12). Good works invalidate the work of Jesus on the cross. God does not save us because of how good our works are but because of His grace.

Jesus is coming back soon. Are you ready? Salvation is not a thing people on earth do and ends when they die. Jesus is coming back to get everyone who has accepted His gift of salvation. Salvation distinguishes the believer from the non-believer. It is not the money, wealth, success, happiness, fame or any other worldly recognition. Those who believe in Jesus go to heaven and those who don’t go to hell. God does not intend for anyone to go to hell, the abode of the devil and his fallen angels. God has given us free will to make a choice to accept Jesus or not. The devil is looking for a harvest of souls. Unlike God, the devil is a jealous foe who wants to take many to hell with him. Do not be one. Jesus emphasized to the Jews the nature of the Kingdom of God. He talked of a harvest where believers will make it to heaven and unbelievers will not.

God gave us His word, the Bible so we can know the truth. Jesus showed us that the word of God is truth, "Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth" (John 17:17). It is this same truth that sets you free. For it to set you free, you must know it, "Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free" (John 8:32). Get a hold of the word of God so you will know who He is and His plan of salvation for mankind.

    ABOUT THIS BOOK

Demystifying the Grey Kingdom highlights the two kingdoms that influence the world, the Kingdom of Light and the Kingdom of Darkness. The Grey Kingdom created by man is an illusion that leads many astray. Unfortunately, the root of its beliefs is the Kingdom of Darkness.

The emphasis of this book is, the Kingdom of God is superior and unrivaled by the Kingdom of Darkness. The devil has nothing new to offer anyone, he only counterfeits everything that God has or does. The devil
