    In LA County Probation's juvenile camps and halls, where life can be crude and often rude; sometimes lonely and frightening. This book is a collection of the words I spoke to some of LAs toughest gang members, rapists, murderers, thieves, car jackers, assaulters, and robbers; ranging in age 11 - 20 that I might, "give them a little hope."  For the first time many of LA Gang members were taught how to really think about their life and the lives of others. Why it is important to not see self as only a victim, but to recognize we are more often than we are willing to admit the product of our choices. Some of life's most important topics are addressed: The reason why you should Stop, Think, and then Respond; It's not about You; Why it is easy to be Angry; and How to Have No More Bad Days. Also where you start doesn't determine anything but where you start; being nice to everyone is the best practice; we all need to be careful for, and give proper respect to Women, Fire, and Dangerous Things.
