    DEDICATION

TO WRITERS EVERYWHERE—MAY YOUR SUCCESS BE A THOUSAND TIMES GREATER THAN YOU CAN POSSIBLY IMAGINE.

    INTRODUCTION

So, what’s an author to do when volume has become the name of the game in publishing, be it traditionally published or self-published? Even the New York Times best-selling authors are putting out four to five books a year.

How is that possible? Do they have some kind of fairy dust hiding in their closet that they can access at anytime?

Of course, the answer to that question is no. No magic fairy dust. If anything, if they’re like me, the only thing hiding in their closets is just plain dust. But what they do have is a system and organizational skills that allow them to accomplish the seemingly impossible.

After much deliberation, trial and error, I came up with what I call The Tinkerbell Effect, which allows me to accomplish the same thing as many other authors. This method has allowed me to put out as many as six books a year, and it’s a method I proudly share with you.

So, keep reading and learning. The Tinkerbell Effect will uncover some of the magical skills that you will need to produce the volume of books needed to stay ahead in this game we call publishing.

In this workbook, we’ll focus on writing four books simultaneously. Once you get the hang of the method, you’ll be able to increase that number exponentially. And the cool thing is it works whether you’re a pantser or a plotter. All you’ll need to get started with the Tinkerbell Effect is this workbook, four single-subject, spiral-bound notebooks, and a calculator.

You’ll notice that much of the book covers issues such as character pictures and names, point of view, location, length of book, etc. Although these topics may come across as basic How to Write a Novel, I’ll be reviewing each topic to make sure you know what I’m referring to as the book covers different topics and builds on the initial description/definition.

And remember, no matter what method you use to write your books … NEVER GIVE UP!
